i stopped mining btx becausse the airdrop is a steal already
btw are you sure you get 22 MH with a 1070? isn't that the hashrate of a 1070 ti? your sp mod is 20% than 2.2.4 i don't remember that
airdrop is near to its end. what i would make is peanuts in comparison with what i have already

what speed range on 1060 with stock sets?
with 100% tdp 13-15MHASH depending on the card and clocks if you run with reduced tdp. f.ex 80% you loose around 10% of the hashrate at 70% i was losing like 5% on a 1070, 17 instead of 18 no reason to do 100% you only increase heat and consumption 60-70% range is the best one

I was thinking about going full out mining and start earning at least as much as I earn now (about €1900 after taxes) and quit my job and instead travel the world.
I currenltly have 13x1060 and 1x1080Ti which net me between $700-$1000/month (after electricity and it depends a lot on crypto price). I also have almost 6000 COSS tokens and if the exchange picks up and goes to Binance-volume in few years then I will probably not have to work for as long as they operate. I was thinking about selling my car and getting twice as much hashpower and then just enjoy life in different parts of the world.
I believe mining is here to stay for as long as crypto will exist, which is forever.
I do GPU mining too and what I learnt from the thing is, you need huge hash power if you want to be in the competition and want to earn some decent money. I started with GTX 570 and 9 of them were in place but gradually the difficulty started increasing and my income source was depleting badly after the electricity. Also, the mining might get struck with many problems, internet going down, electricity going down and much more unwanted problems. Each moment in the crypto mining is very important as we loose money over the time! So yeah I think getting upgrades for your mining would be great idea and I wouldn't hesitate to sell my car if I were you! Go for it and do update us what you plan to do. Good luck buddy! nah you don't need huge hash, just mine new shitcoin and dump at the first pump on exchange, done easy profit

same problem, it seems that some slot work only if you have other slot filled, so you need to fill all 12-13 Make sure all of your PCI slots are set to Gen 1 in the BIOS.
Start with filling all of the black PCI-e slots first then move to filling the white ones.
this worked for me too but without gen 1 thing

I'm at 20$ per card with opensource miner.
xcn? ))) In fact argo (skein) was making good profit as it was pumped Argo was good if you got in the first few days probably was 20$ then. None of those. Sorry guys I can't tell you. The purpose of my post was both to show that even in bad times you can make good profit, and that you shouldn't listen to anyone but everyone. Especially don't listen to bensam and sp_. :-) probably raven i see you were selling 1m in no time at 100 satoshi each or more dunno...

guys please this was not motherboard issue, it was not dectecting issue, it was that the gpu was not powered at all
i figured out finally what was the problem, basically i used both type 4 and type 3 pcie cables together this was the problem...

i'm building a new 13 gpu rig with the h110 pro btc, everything work fine with 5 gpu, i've added thge six one and it's not powering up at all, i tried the gpu on another system and it work fine, so it's not the gpu
i used another pcič cables and i still have this issue, i can't really grasp my head around this...
+ swap the cards around and/or + put card #6 in a different machine . . . to verify it is good already did it's good really weird stuff here, basically this gpu do not work here but work on the other system fucking weird, i removed all gpu and this one still not working so one can think about this gpu being bad, but this same gpu work on another rig . . . lol finally it working now, really no-sense never seen this thing before...now it's freezing...

How many psu you have?
1 ax1600i, i think the problem is the psu it's defective i suppose
|
|
|
I run 13 RX 580 on the ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ with USB 6-pin powered risers in Windows 10 v1709. I guess you're not using powered risers? If so you need to plug in the two 4-pin molex PCI-E supplemental power on the motherboard.
i've already did that, all my other rig are working fine with 6 gpu without power risers, it's something to do with the psu here
|
|
|
i tried what you said but nothing changed, the six card is not receiving power, the led is off
this motherboard can clearly support more than 5 gpu...something wrong here
wait i think i did not explin myself well, it's not the motherboard the issue here, the psu don't power the gpu at all that's the problem, even if i'm not connecting it to the motherboard...
weird thing is that this gpu work in another system
