id offer $2500 in BTC.

breakdown: $350 per card x 6 = 2100, plus $400 for the other parts

too low 350 per card, they are still sold for 500+ euro

Just be careful with cryptonight V7, we still don't know if it is already supported by (some of) the ASICs.

if they can tweak it like they did for light version, v7 isn't that much of a barrier
487  Local / Hardware/Mining (Italiano) / Re: [VENDO] 6 x 1070 RIG on: March 22, 2018, 07:39:46 AM

488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 20, 2018, 09:00:03 AM
1070 ti, not with 2.2.4 but poly v2 miner, alexis fork

My mod is faster than the poly v2 miner for all the cards I have tested. (gtx 970,1060 3gb, 1070,1070ti and 1080ti).  This bin isn't opensource. With more oc my mod can do 30MHASH on the 1070ti. and above 41MHASH on the 1080ti

30 mh is good if you can do them at 60% tdp, 20% faster
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 20, 2018, 08:09:10 AM

Politymos sp-mod #1 beta.

cards at 85% tdp and mild oc

opensource one can do 25-26 at 60% tdp
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.16.0 Released on: March 19, 2018, 12:38:58 PM
Is anyone seeing MUCH WORSE performance on low-end machines?
I have an old PC 1st gen i3, 6GB ram, 256GB ssd, Win 10 64bit and nothing else installed.
With 0.15.1, 0.15.0, 0.14.2, everything was fine. With 16 it takes minutes to do anything.
On the newer PCs I have running core everything is fine, but this on has become worse then useless. Before I wipe it and start again is anyone else seeing this behavior?

Yes, I know it's old and slow but all it does is just sit there with the core client running on it with nothing else and it's been fine like this for years. Did it just get too old or is it something else?

-Dave
No noticeable performance differences from 0.15.1 on Win7 x64 machine with overclocked i7-4700MQ CPU, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Running with block pruning enabled. And I am really sensitive to any performance drops, like I am able to distinguish between RAM running at stock speeds vs. XMP profile loaded and timings tightened. So I suspect the problem is due to blockchain maintenance or some other thing going on.

then what's the point of releasing 0.15.1 when they could have waited, directly for this and release it instead

btw checksum 42706da1a95b2db8c5808529f73c2063a0dd770f71e0c8506bfa86dc0f3403ef

Not sure what you mean. 15.1 had a lot of improvements to p2p behaviour, this release had a lot of improvements to many things especially segwit wallet support. Why should 15.1 have waited for this?

i mean just skip 15.1 and include everything in 16

What is the point of that? Then you would have had to wait until now for the features that 15.1 contained. Same could be said about 0.16, why bother releasing 0.16 when we could save all the features for 0.17? We make regular releases so that the features actually get out into real use in stable, gitian built, signed binaries.

that's not my point, what i mean is that it's pointless to release many releases in a short time, 15.1 was still new

I have added +2.5% in the bitcore algo. The x16r is almost done. I get around 15% bether return than the enemy miner. 24h testing.

what is the boost on your polytimos mod?

496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asrock h110 problem on: March 16, 2018, 08:52:22 AM
TL;DR it's not a detecting issue, just the 1 and 5 gpu do not mine and crush, but all 12 gpu are detected
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 16, 2018, 06:27:11 AM
they can hard fork anyway and let the old fork die, asic can't 51% the new chain anyway
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Asrock h110 problem on: March 15, 2018, 08:33:13 AM
i have finished my 13 gpu rig, actually only 12, but the first white slot and the 5(or 4 dunno here) one do not work, it detect the gpu but when i launch the miner the gpu go to 0 core, fan at full speed and does not mine

there is any solution to this, perhaps i need to fill all the 13 gpu slot?

gen 1 on bios and uefi all set, problem is something else, i noticed that in the bios the first white slot support gen3...

maybe something to do with ccminer that do not allow more than 10 gpu?

i think it's software related , i'm getting this error

sell your GPU  Tongue
Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite ASIC miner

this need an hard fork then

that is an option, but let's not rush to conclusions.

I will sell off all but a token position of any CN coin I have mined that does not hard fork to protect itself against the Baikal Giant N. You basically have 2-3 weeks to get your shit together or you can experience what SIA just went through.

What if the baikal already has support for the new monero PoW? This is what I mean with "don't rush to conclusions". You risk double damage. Let's study the baikal and all the PoW options we have and decide carefully. A hard fork is not something to take lightly.

i doubt they can already, is the monero pow just a change in some parameters like the different equihash?
