if the nethash was already 5 and you add 10 you are mining at 2/3 of the nethash, but would be better to add only 5mh so you still mine 50% instead of 66% but the other 5mh can be pointed at another coin, and you earn much more in the end

if the forkgen coin is using the same algo, why not, but otherwise it's not possible you need to add the code to mien the new algo, this can't be automated and never will be

well you need to compare based on price not only hashrate, based on price you can not compare 1 gpu with 1 asic, it's no sense, also consumption must be compared too

i can think about centralization, because fpga is more expensive and casual miner can not afford it easily, but perssonally i don't have anything against it, after all it's like a gpu...

just look at the coin specs, supply block reward and all, investors usually compare this with other coin that have already a value, and the price will be akin, there are exception when a coin, turn around to be very good and its value go crazy

proof of stake coin tend to be dumped in the long time, because of how it work, proof of work might work better in the long term if the dev is good and the coin is promising

so it's not needed? my first and second motherboard had both the same problem that the gpu go to 0 core clock when i start mining and the fan start to spin at full speed, this happen only on the white slot
