Hello, guys,

I have old bee coin V.1 wallets.
Is there any chance that I can convert the coins to the actual version of Bee coin?

Hi Graham,
I'm a very old BeeCoiner here despite my newbie account (someone stole my original one).
I'm experiencing a problem with my BeeCoin wallet. I have a wallet.dat file a bit big (almost 50MB) maybe because being staking for long time it's full of thousands and thousands of micro transactions.
Opening this wallet file my BeeCoin-qt app is working very laggly with high cpu usage, showing very often "not responding".
Anyway it seems to work properly staking the coins and receiving transactions for it.
With an empty wallet.dat file the BeeCoin-qt works smoothly.
I tried to recreate the wallet.dat file dumping the private keys (dumpprivkey) and importing them in a new wallet (importprivkey) but the result seems to be the same (the new wallet.dat file got also big).
Then I wanted to move all the coins to a new empty wallet transfering all the coins but I could see I cannot do it in one time (even counting off the fees).
Trying to move them little by little it seems it allows me to transfer (per time) approx half of the coins I have in my wallet.
Even the fact that some coins are staking and cannot be tranfered is making the things more complicated.
Is maybe there a problem in the wallet that cannot transfer all the coins to a new wallet?
I think it would be the best solution to have a slim wallet file with not so many transactions inside.
What can I do? Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you very much in advance for you precious support.
Ottavio.

Hi Graham and Co

I'm having some troubles with my wallet.
It shows a bunch of incoming transactions - but the total is not reflected in this.

I'm fully upto date.
Is there a blockexplorer I can access?
See if i can figure out whats going on.

On a side note, long time fan, also got a thing for bee's but that's for another day.
I've bee-n working on a new logo. I've sent my doodles to my artist friend, who will hopefully have something pretty to show us Cheesy

As with many others here. I'm willing to support in many ways if needed.
Just to shy to speak up.

Thanks for your hard work

I wanted to say "dumpwallet" and "importwallet" commands...

I think it would be the best solution to have a slim wallet file with not so many transactions inside. aka “housekeeping”

You'll lose some stake weight in the initial rounding up of the “micro-stake rewards” but that's to be expected. Doing this housekeeping on a regular basis in the future will better preserve stake weights.

Cheers

You mean actual Alice-to-Bob txs or stake rewards - if the latter are these not merely orphans?

Cheers

continue conversations on the new BEE coin thread here.

2 other projects are trying to take the BEE ticker right now it is important we prove our original claim to that ticker in 2014

We are not bee2 we are BEE coin.

Enjoy the festive season.

Thank you very much!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the BeeCoiners here.
I really hope the new year could be the right one for the reborn of our BeeCoin! Cheesy

p.s. I'm a system administrator, I'm not competent in crypto, blockchain and so on, but... if there is something I can do for BeeCoin (servers, nodes, connectivity) let me know.
At now my node 5.189.154.154 is up and running 24/7   Wink

Thanks for the support Smiley

Graham will know if there is something you can help with i'm sure.

I want to know what the relationship between BEE2 and POS is. How to deal with the project of BEE2

I can't believe how rude some people from the bee community can be after he has helped us all come back from nowhere.
