Of course it is but a long term with the bitcoin is very unstable if you ask me because the fact is that the bitcoin is not to predict at all.
With a short term there is still a sort of overview, with as a example the halving that is coming you can see a bit what is coming with a long term investment this is not the case at all right ?
Overall I would short term investment first to see what its gonna do this year and than later maybe invest for a long term.
