I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?
Btc is not dependent on dollars price. Its value is measured in bitcoin but it has nothing to do with bitcoin price.Although usd crash will create a lot of havoc in overall world's economy and many countries may see huge economic crisis. This economic depression will surly effect bitcoin negatively

People would be fine with that. I guess that would be a time for STRONG BUY.

it depends. don't forget that the most wealthy people will always prefer gold over anything as some sort of safe haven. maybe that bitcoin will gain some extra incoming money from people trying to escape the usd, but will it be enough to cause the price to at least double? i have my doubts.
Nope not all wealthy people are going to choice gold as there investment some of investors are prefer to use bitcoin with there business and bitcoin will bee a free of charge when they playing on th e gambling website too theey can escape the fees and they can hold there money whenever they want in gambling and exchange website

You should go and do some research, if BTC has nothing to do with $$$, you might not be here...
It used to be few hundredth of a cent, but no one ever showed any interest in this thing, but when it went up like stocks and reached $30 from $5, don't you think it made a lot of difference to its own value??? If you are trading and you are saying this, then I think you don't know anything about this asset...

If the US dollar collapses, there will undoubtedly be MASS volatility in every asset class. Alternative savings, such as gold and silver will go parabolic and through the roof. BTC will benefit in the long run, although I believe it will take a while to settle out.

Your right but we are just few users of bitcoin and few investors in bitcoin unlike in gold that many people are investing in gold.. even me i have some gold here in my house just like ring and necklace..
It is good to have gold too because in case of emergency you can sell them easily here.. its just like the same as bitcoin..

Well yeah gold and other precious jewels and stones are going to be a good alternative when the US dollar crashes. Because for sure it may affect the local exchange.

So when that happened you can just simply relay on your gold and other jewels and just sell them out but their value will remain and going to be even higher.

Unlike local currency it may fall because of crash.

You are somehow correct because their are  lots of  people  do have gold   on their  possesion which is  really good  investment  on  long terms  and you could able to use it   on emergency purposes. Yes they are the same  with bitcoin. Back to topic if  US dollar would crash  for sure their would be  an economic crises and  many would be affected and  include to  that is bitcoin.

Back to topic if  US dollar would crash  for sure their would be  an economic crises and  many would be affected and  include to  that is bitcoin.

There will really a economic crisis since USD is a universal currency. Also remittances will be affected especially here in our country where there are great numbers of workers outside the country which their salary are based on the value of USD.

In bitcoin, there will be no reason now to dream of high price in USD when converted.

Yup, I've had this conversation with people in a dozen or so countries, from PhDs to dropouts, from mega-rich to mega-poor, and everyone agrees:  the only way forward is for the US dollar to crash.  This would universally help all people in all walks of life.

If the value of US Dollar crashed the economy of the entire world will also down as most of the countries depend on USD and their economy may also depend on bitcoin therefore if the USD crashed it will effect all most all the economies of the world.

How can it be good in crypto in general when most of our investors here are from the US that is why we are using the US Dollar as our standard way to measure the value of bitcoins we are holding, I think the economy of bitcoin will also crash.

Nope I do think so, because if we see the crises in US dollars it would affect the USA region only. I think other countries would be safe I'm their economic balance. I think USA government may adopt the bitcoin that time make as the national currency.

It happend before. Most countries are affected when the when the price of USD go down. On bitcoin side, i think the bitcoin will go up since more user will convert thier USD to bitcoin.

and still same is the situation as more and more countries economy is depending on USD, therefore if USD going to crash it means that the economy of the most of the countries will down, but as we can see that USD is the most strongest currency of the world in present time therefore it is not so easy that USD will crash.

That's just because of the Brexit that took place, so GBP needs a lot of time to recover with their ongoing situations that they are currently facing...
Mark my words, the day Britain starts recovering hard, USD will remember the crash it will see against any currency just because of GBP...

I think brexit made it very hard for investors inside the EU to invest. Both the GBP and the EUR are taking a beating while other currencies like the dollar, yen but the swiss frank are profiting from this insecurity. The dollar have really gained in popularity.

I can't imagine how main currency of the world can crash. It's almost impossible in my opinion. Local currencies can crash, and we saw it happened to ruble few years ago and now pound is falling. But I don't know what would need to happen to crash most important currency in the world.
