In case the US Dollar crashes, then a very large number of world nations will go bankrupt. Many of the countries, including superpowers such as China and Japan, store their forex reserves in the form of United States treasury bonds and other USD-denominated assets. If the USD crashes, then these countries will lose a large part of their forex reserves.

If the USA dollar ever sites crash, then bitcoin will become even bigger in the USA and other currencies around the world would have their value shoot up.

I don't think it would have a positive effect on bitcoin. Bitcoin relies on a bunch of economic factors for it to grow like it has been growing.
If the dollar crashes I'm afraid the bitcoin will decrease in value.

If the US dollar does crash, bitcoin value will most probably decrease. But at the same time, this also means that more people will start using bitcoin.

That sounds like a paradox. The assumption that many people will start using bitcoin is likely true.

Well if it crashes, I and everyone I know is screwed.  However, I followed the silver/gold boom in 2011 and every talking head huckster was hyping precious metals on a platform of economic collapse.  Blah blah blah.  Here we are, 4 years later and nothing.

I totally get that the US has got serious problems, but everyone's been crying wolf for so long.  Don't think we'll see disaster in our lifetimes.

If USD crashes then the BTC price will be our least concern I'm afraid. Probably we'll be busy with trying to find a job and with queuing for food :/.

I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?

Interesting question. Give that bitcoin is naturally tied up to the dollar in a certain way, I can't imagine what would happen. logically we should see the price of the dollar going down comparing to bitcoin, or should I say bitcoin would be worth even more dollars. but would that really happen?

Ok we all like bitcoin, but if happen that the dollar crash, i think is utopic that bitcoin will replace FIAT. there's always the volatily problem. Example today i buy a car whit bitcoin, tomorrow the dealer lost xx% because of a dump, not so good. Bitcoin will not replace fiat but definitely they will go 'hand in hand

There is a thing called capital flight, where they change their money to other type of assets like gold and in this case bitcoin. Most of the thing is based on USD, but f it crashes, the value of things will be based on other commodities like bitcoin or gold. The dollar bills is just a printed paper with no value.

Exactly this. Unless of course the whole world has adapted to bitcoin, it wouldn't be a problem then

But as of right now, I don't see this happening any time soon. So yes we will be stuck with this issue, we'll have bigger problems on our hands then bitcoin.

Even if this is happening, the US government will do everything that they could to stop this from happening. Putting every resources that they have in attempt to stop this and even if this could not be prevented then they would just create another currency from scratch rather than using bitcoin

Yes, it's because they can't really get any benefits out of bitcoin itself

They probably could if you really think about it but I doubt that they would, since the bitcoin market is not in their hands

Trump claims the United States is no longer a rich country, because rich countries don’t borrow money. In the interview, Trump claimed that the US is becoming a third world nation forced to borrow money and issue debt. Trump also suggested an answer to the question “When will the us dollar collapse?”, saying when US debt hits the $21 to $22 trillion mark, things will get much, much worse.

Such debate points truly indicate the falling, but that don't have much impact over the countrymen, this gets highlighted due to the present scenario of US elections.
