What if US Dollar Crashes?

With the newly elected President there would be much changes and I see that USD might fall a little because of the separation of different views some love him and some dont and it might get a big problem with the economy with the split opinions.

I dont believe the dollar will affect crypto world at all, the value of dollars is interesting for countries and companies that make transactions worldwide, even knowing that dollar/bitcoin is the most traded that doesnt affect at all crypto world, with a dollar stronger or not.

If us dollar crahes there will be a lot of opportunity in on its neighbour country.  Like the value of our local products might have a higher value and at the same time there will be much cheaper value in foreign products

But I am not sure USD is going to crash because current impact is going to end very soon as we have some good and positive feedback from Newly Elected President its not happening first time its already done before this because Election is running for every four years so its usual effect

I do not think that the dollar will collapse in the near future. After the election, the new president will try to show their best side and will strengthen the national currency.

We can say that, because now new President has been announced, may be it will be good for your country, But so far as dollar, So should know that Dollar is strong currency in all over the world, because it is strong country's currency, It can't die, but may be up and down will be happened with dollar's price , but they can't affect a lot of bitcoin. Now that Trump is at the wheel the markets will drop like they have and then slowly rebound if he does not go haywire and try to throw Rosie in jail. We are in uncharted terrain and the markets will ebb and flow till a established pattern develops.
It will take some time to transition over to the new POTUS and shake the jitters out. USD could actually start to climb but I also read the world may make him pay through economic trades going south. Who knows!

Some how I just do not see it crashing but maybe a steady decline over decades,nothing rapid like in the near future.

If the values decreases people will buy more of USD as it will come back and thus it demand will increase and price will rise back again.

Then all the economies around the world will be affected in a negative way. The US Dollar is the world's no. 1 reserve currency. Almost all of the countries hold their reserves in USD. Importers, exporters, international traders, crude oil prices are all transacted in USD so it would be possible that the global economy could go thru a depression.

I would believe that BTC will be affected negatively also because all the mining farms, Bitcoin merchants and other Bitcoin based businesses all need fiat, their operations do not depend solely on BTC.

I don't think it would have that adverse of an effect on the worlds economy. Countries could just switch to a new currency like they are doing in Asia right now.

It would be naive to think it would be as easy as that. So what currency will countries switch to? I am guessing that the Yuan is what you are thinking. Do you not know that China holds a huge amount of reserves in USD and that they are also holding a lot of US bonds? So it is in their self interest to see that the dollar remains stable. So if it goes down then China will also be really affected.

The US won't allow this though, Iraq is what happens when you decide to stop using the US dollar for things like oil. That was most likely the real reason we invaded their country. Hussein decided to use the Euro instead of the USD and now he is dead and his country is in ruins but they are back on the USD again.

Of course they won't allow it, it will affect them negatively in a big way and so will every economy all over the world.

Yeah dollar will not crash even if the face big economic fall, because they have a planned backing for future. Another important thing is that if dollar gets crashed our bitcoin too gets crashed because till now we were not independent.
