The US dollar is never going to crash if you ask me, the US is just do big and powerfull of a country to let there currency be destroyed.
Too big to fail, huh? But who is going to support it when it finally faces its failure? |

American dollar is the central of all currencies and the basis on money exchange around the world.So i dont think that usd will crash someday even if it will be re owned by other people.But if that thin would really happen,it may be the end of happy days of bitcoins industry because tho bitcoins price is too big now bitcoin is still depending on amerian dollar currency
yeah , currently it is playing as the master of all the other currencies and for crashing it some other currency will have to get that much power and trust which dollar has achieved till now. |

Dollar is artificially maintained.
The time when east will decide not to trade with dollars anymore, not to sell their goods for dollars anymore but for their own currency, or maybe some other, lets say "east currency", then that will be the end of the dollar. And there is already some speculation about that "east currency", well everything starts like that...

The USD wouldn't just crash for no reason, and so whatever reason it is that does result in the USD crashing would have to be relatively catastrophic.

Yeah true. If it crashes then it would rise up again. They always want power so they wont let anyone just step on them. We on the other side will just have to go to their flow. People go to USA for dollars they know it is a strong currency. |

I disagree that the bitcoin will fall once USD fall down, they are not related to each other, bitcoin only estimate its value to usd. But when usd fall down bitcoin can be independent and have its own value. I think it can stand on its own. |

I think that it is going to somehow effect the Bitcoin because many people sell there Bitcoins against US Dollars so with that disappearing they now have to find a other currency. Yes they would need another currency if it collapsed so the obvious thing would be that Bitcoin would stand in but that causes trouble because Bitcoin is not stable. But then again the prices of everything could just be dynamic going up and down too. So a loaf of bread would be say .001 one day and then .0012 the other. People are getting paid hourly like that too so it's not a big deal |

They wouldn't even need to make some new currency (to take place of the US dollar). 2 trillion dollars worth of the US Treasuries held cumulatively by China and Japan would suffice to essentially end up with the dollar as the world prime currency... But Japan is a puppet of the US while China won't go this way (at least not yet) |

yeah weak usd=bullish BTC is a good way of thinking for me,im doing the same. Thats why i hope America will be weaker  gonna earn a lot of money if it going to happen |

If the US Dollar crashes then it just crashes and there is not much that we can do about it, I am sure that Bitcoin is going to be effected by it somehow because many people trade in there bitcoins for the US Dollar. |

yeah weak usd=bullish BTC is a good way of thinking for me,im doing the same. Thats why i hope America will be weaker gonna earn a lot of money if it going to happen I agree bullish BTC and bullish commodities. that is the effect of weakining currency. USD will have little value while commodities around it will be inflated. Resulting to Higher BTC but somehow will be nullify by increasing commodities prices. So yeah you will have a x10 BTC price accompanied by X10 commodity prices. |

The thing is that bitcoin is linked to fiat currency,and i think that there is no other currency,that we have the biggest correlation between it,( with bitcoin also )
like btc/usd.
That means we can see some really huge impact on bitcoin if us dollar will crash,which i dont really like,but US dollar crashing would affect every currency,and every asset on the world.

There will be a worlwide panic. There will be a problem pertaining the use of btc since it is backed up by dollar and not by gold. If dollar crashes then bitcoin crashes as a currency. A new bitcoin will emerged and that is the bitcoin being controlled by the government. A new bitcoin under the rule of law which is more transparent and a legal tender. |

When dollars will go down there will be a big crisis. But fiat currency will still be the legal tender. But instead of dollars at the center maybe yen or euros or pounds will replace it at the top of fiat currency. Its effect on bitcoins is uncertain but bitcoin will still move on and continue to grow. Since bitcoin can be exchanged to other currency then without the dollars it can still exist and operate. |

when the time comes that USD would crash,it would affect all the economic state of each country since this currency is one of the major pairs in Forex. It would also affect the price of btc since USD dropped it's value.

Yeah and it is not connected to anything. So a sink of price from others wont affect bitcoin. But could there be a moment where US dollar want to drag everything down with it? |
