Had to come here after the Blockstream lies that they are going to beam Bitcoin from satellites. Sad world we live in.

There is a pinch of truth to satellites, but they're high altitude balloons. Google has a lot of resources on the stuff they do with balloons all-be-it with smaller balloons at lower altitudes than the rocket launched mega balloons the military/NASA uses.

When the big rocket launched satellites are done they come down and are picked up by fighter jets with a hook as they fall. This is what a lot a airbases are on standby to do, they wait for the call that a satellite is coming down and they go get it before it hits the ground.

We live in a simulation of a globe earth. To save unnecessary processing power, the simulation renders the earth as flat because we can't visually distinguish the difference anyway, so rendering it as a globe would be a massive waste of system resources. So in a way flat earthers and globeheads are both correct

Most of the stuff nasa puts out is photo shopped. Even this pic needed to be stitched together. That doesn't mean the earth is flat or that nasa is lying.   only peanut brains can come to that conclusion.
