How did he manage to register in december 31, 1969?
OK, good point. But since 0 seconds in unixtime is (1970,1,1) wouldn't that be a more likely null date? This looks more like a hack tag. Still, it certainly does smell like unwashed gymclothes, and what you and Goat mention seems like the Occams razor explanation. It would be easy for the pool to come clean if not. It is a great way for the pool to make cash though. Make a bunch of accounts and hop your own prop pool. Make it impossible for other miners to submit shares at the start of a round. If you set your worker on hide then you get the date 1969, not everything is a conspiracy hehe

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Cute, I explain the mystery of the date that you couldnt figure out by just looking into it for 1 second rather than spewing conspiracy after conspiracy and you immediately point it to me lmao. But I do enjoy reading your posts, its amusing since there is a couple every day and perfect for lunch break

Ah, clipse, there is only ONE worker hidden on bitclockers and you just happened to know the answer. Coincidence of course.
Moreover, there is not a single other worker hopping bitclockers atm that has even the hashrate you claim to have yourself (what was it, 50GH?), so either we should believe you are not hopping bitclockers at all, not even with your private farm, or you are the hidden user. Which is it?

Thats extremely convenient that the hidden_by_user's isnt on now, cause I initially saw a couple other users displayed as hidden_by_user and the 1969 date thats when I first checked how they got such a strange date. Where I mine with my farm is none of your business, I bet that hurts. I will give you a small hint, my farm have multiple workers on bitclockers, now sniff them out lassi. Oh to answer your silly question, as soon as you can show me your Badge that displays , "Every person needs to answer my stupid questions" I will respond to your stupid questions.

Im not interested in your private farm Clipse. And you would lose the bet . Im interested in the pool you claim to operate and the blocks it isnt publishing.

More interesting stuff when you just glance over the block history. Blocks are now linked to blockexplorer, I guess that proves they are legit. Or are they? The times dont match the ones in blockexporer, I mean they are not even close. Its not a timezone issue either with a constant number of hours difference and perhaps a few minutes fluctuation, its like there is no correlation whatsoever. Only the day usually matches. I wonder why some pools still don't use block HASH instead of block height for blockexplorer links.

Could be ABC but I still doubt it. I honestly do not think it's real work being done. How would the pool profit from that? Use it explain block lengths maybe?

@backburn/V2;
been a long time member (almost a year) of the BitClockers pool, I promise i'm not trolling you.
yeah NC support is broken, it's been broken the entire time (minus 8 blocks...) -what's happening to the NC that has been mined? I mean something must be fundamentally configured incorrectly, because it's not that difficult to merge mine, and the fact that withdrawn NC hasn't propagated to network is even more fail...
regarding reporting, that's another huge fail on BC behalf, all kinds of people have voiced concern regarding the reporting that takes place, and not ONE explanation has been given! What's the deal with BC reporting? why are solved blocks not being reported accurately? I mean it would almost be better to not report at all...
there's a lot of things that really suck hard at bitclockers, but -and this is a huge but. I make more BTC at bitclockers than anywhere else...
backburn, please take the 5-10min necessary to address some of these concerns (i'm getting really tired of all the hate and shit talk that i hear everytime i talk about how awesome bitclockers is/was),
regards,
J

which also means nothing. There is variance in mining. I did skimped thro the thread, the lack of response concludes it for me. They're caught cheating, simple.

At least it'll be hard to cheat on PPS, and 8% fee is a realistic figure.
I'd still like them to come clean about their published stats though.

I dont see BitClockers ever giving an explanation, which is sad... If they was nothing to hide, a couple sentences of explanation would change the attitude of alot of people. Some reporting for the last three blocks they've solved; block: 179159 time: 2012-05-08 00:34:43 hash: 00000000000007054520bd85cd1a70af48ae79b600608d45889bfe9a152a11db relayed by: 76.73.57.125 *Bitclockers reported: May 8, 2012 @ 3:54 am (18hours 30min solve time) ___ block:179208 time: 2012-05-08 06:16:46 hash: 00000000000003169514b68dbb207173895c363977c5d37ce74f09eb14215ee1 relayed by: 76.73.57.125 *Bitclockers reported: May 8, 2012 @ 8:54 pm (17hours 0 minutes solve time) ___ block:179242 time: 2012-05-08 11:33:53 hash: 00000000000004bdda907b223fcc07a699ad3c345944d62ce38feac379879cad relayed by: 76.73.57.125 Bitclockers reported: May 10, 2012 @ 4:04 am (31hours 9 minutes solve time) all info was gathered via https://bitclockers.com/statistics/blockhistory and http://blockchain.info/on a brighter note for bitclockers, it appears that NC is working correctly *good work backburn.

Its hard to cheat on PPS. 8% is also considerably less than deepbit. I see no problem here. Of course how much they pocketed from their miners before the switch to PPS is an open question. A round average of 2.1M shares per block and not a single short block in 6+ months suggests it might be tangible. Looks like some fools are still mining for them More interestingly, some fools are still trying to hop them it seems .

Interesting: https://bitclockers.com/statistics/blockhistoryNotice that block 650 introduced PPS. Also notice that those recent short blocks have fake dates and all link to blocks that were actually found several days ago, when payout was still proportional.
