Conventional currency is real. usually used for real transactions.

Bitcoin is an absolutely new system of settlements between people. Humanity has not yet realized the breakthrough and importance of this idea of decentralization of money
At the present moment, it is not a possibility that every single person living on earth can use bitcoin or knows about it but in future, digital currencies would be used like fiat and both will coexist and after sometime, when the world will totally convert into a pure technology oriented place, digital coins will be the face of money. But it is far away from today and if there won’t be education everywhere, it is not possible. Yes, still, there is wide chance for the people to understand about the technology, people are now considering bitcoin as currency and money because some people are holding it and some people are selling into fiat currency. Based on different views and amount we are converting them and holding according to our needs. |

Humanity is understand everything, that's why bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are popular nowadays. Decentralization of money is the main factor that making people use bitcoin, profit means nothing in this case. I don’t really think so that this thing carries any kind of significant importance and that you can call it either as currency or money based on your usage and interest. For me, bitcoin is an asset which is helping me in having some very good amount of earning because of the reason that I keep on holding all my bitcoins for as long as I could and that I don’t spend those bitcoins to buy anything. To me. Bitcoin is not an asset, currency or money because bitcoin more than whatever you call it either asset or money due to it potentials and outstanding performance which could make ones a millionaire over night. |

It is money because their are some online stores now accepting bitcoin as payments and it can be converted into cash. So, it's money. It is also currency since it is now valuable and can exchange into physical money.

Bitcoin is a digital currency. Its use for P2P transition. If you use bitcoin you must have internet connection. Or money is not for P2P transition. So bitcoin is not money.

A currency is something that refers to money in a given location. Currency is also to be considered as a medium of exchange or system through which other people follows as a standard with specific values given to it for exchanges. As a system bitcoin is a currency and since with its functionality it is to be considered as well as money. Money is used to buy things or products in the market and bitcoin does the same. This is what I thought of bitcoin in my opinion.
