Update 3 March:

We will reach 3 million PTC distributed later today, appropriate for 3/3/2025.

Total claims are now above 8 million and we are slowly approaching the halfway mark (10.5 million).

Today is day 10 of the claims period that will last 180 days. Our team is pleased with the response so far and are happy that the claims system is working as intended.

We expect incoming claims will now begin to slow down after this initial period. There are PPC holders who will be unaware of this announcement for another month, two, or three. This is the reason for the long claims period, to give everyone a fair chance to participate.

63.2% of the last 1,000 blocks signal that they are ready for Peercoin's v0.15 "APO" fork (11.8% left to go). This protocol update is about making DLCs nicer to use, ANYPREVOUT (APO) ensures that all outcomes of a DLC are in place before it is funded so all the parties of the DLC don't need to trust one another.

If you are waiting for a stable release before you upgrade, that is not necessary. v0.15 uses the same codebase as v0.14, which has been stable for a while now, so there is no need to wait.

This package makes FROST Taproot threshold signatures available to Dart/Flutter apps and is used for the Noosphere ROAST implementation that makes it easy to coordinate and create these signatures (and will soon be integrated into the Peercoin Flutter wallet). We welcome all bug reports and pull requests.

The Peercoin blockchain has (soft) forked at block #801331. SIGHASH_ANYPREVOUT (APO) is now activated. Please update to v0.15 if you did not already.

APO is a soft-fork that allows a transaction to be signed without reference to any specific previous output, such that any output with a matching signature can be dynamically added later.
