Hi all, June dividend will be sent out tomorrow (July 4th).
Wow, I underestimated how good of a PR you are. Basically paid for yourself right there. *slow clap* I work for free and thought people would like to know when dividend is going out, so I stated as such. Thanks for being nice.

Hi all, June dividend will be sent out tomorrow (July 4th).
Wow, I underestimated how good of a PR you are. Basically paid for yourself right there. *slow clap* I work for free and thought people would like to know when dividend is going out, so I stated as such. Thanks for being nice. That's not the thing I'm taking issue with. I could be hired to be in charge of site security...working for free. I know nothing about web security, but hey I'm filling the position and doing it for free therfor we don't need somebody who can actually do web security. If Erik cannot handle being his own PR he should hire somebody who can match the expected level of one. As a PR, you would be expected to relay the concerns and queries of investors to Erik and his response back. Putting PR in your name and parroting or offering nominal information does not exceed or even come close to meeting the expected duties of the role. tl;dr Hiring a scuba diver to be a pilot does not make the diver an apt pilot. If formation that still does need addressing however that you may have knowledge of: - Did Erik remove the betting pool, and replace with this months dividends of his ( Even while this is still a hotly contested matter of the ownership of those funds) - New site that we're paying for... mock up of what it looks like? additional features? Why it takes 3 months to show any progress? - 'Big announcement' due 2 months ago...hoax? -No company balance sheet? Or steps toward getting a competent accountant...? (Back to no comments on the gdocs monthly expenses, wtf) --- THESE are the things that a PR should be addressing, not the trivial 'hey! As expected, we're paying everyone dividends this month!1!!2'

What price are you using? Clearly not IPO price as AsicMiner gets on average more than 100% back a month! IPO price would be silly to base yields on. The question to ask is "if I put X amount of coin into stock Y right now, how much do I get back per week/month/year?" Right now, ASICMiner is arounf 4.5 BTC per share. If you'd sell a share and put the 4.5 BTC into S.DICE, would you get more return on your investment?

Yield was always larger than AM's. S.DICE has in its lifetime paid ~80k BTC in dividends to AM's ~20k.

AM paid ~140k in dividends, it took them only 4 months to earn this ammount with sales and mining. This is according to btc.co dividend history for AM. IPO shareholders are already more than 100k in profit. (If you add to this price increase in btc value (75$) and shares (4,5btc), ~300x in dollar terms).

I guess I haven't been keeping close enough track. 140k BTC, srsly? Like .3 BTC per share?

Share earnings: [/b] .00004989 per share (roughly 2.5% monthly dividend or 30% yearly dividend @ .002btc/share)
This is highly misleading, but perhaps you should expect that from PR. To annualize you multiply by 6 as this is two months' return, not one.

Correct, it's closer to .35 per share. It almost makes you wonder... but no, that could never, ever happen. Not again. I thought there was a paid PR, but that must just be me making things up. So many other things have been paid for at random intervals, that I've gotten confused as to just what SDice is spending money on.

Yes, it is misleading but your solution is not correct either. The correct math would be to subtract the May loss-carryover and then multiply by 12. Consequently, the PR understated the monthly/yearly return percentage. But for forward looking luck should have either a discount or premium applied and gross should probably be normalized to USD for more accurate economic calculation.

I think Erik has completed his goal of making a lot of money. The next step is to use SD as a spring board for the next project. I really doubt any company will ever buy SD due to this share thing. That was pretty much a poison in my mind for that type of deal. So with new found wealth.. he probably has better things to do then manage a simple gambling website and bother with "investors". He is probably deciding on what new entertainment system he wants for his new living accommodations and what color shag carpet for the bathrooms.
