MoneyPot is a general-purpose, yet gambling oriented Bitcoin web-wallet that gives you control over the applications that have access to your balance. You can transfer your bitcoin between your MoneyPot wallet, apps, and your investment in the global bankroll. Our goal is to make this as simple as possible. When you want your money out of the pot, just send it to any bitcoin address so it's back in your pocket.

Authorize Apps

Users get to authorize apps and then move money from their MoneyPot wallet into the app so they can spend it there:


For example: If you have 1 bitcoin (1,000,000 bits) in your MoneyPot account, you can deposit half of it into the DustDice app. Now, when you go to DustDice, DustDice only has access to half a bitcoin.

You can transfer bits between your MoneyPot wallet and individual apps at any time. When you're done with an app? Simply disable it.

Manage your money in one place

You can transfer your bitcoin between your MoneyPot wallet, apps, and your investment in the global bankroll. Our goal is to make this as simple as possible.

When you want your money out of the pot, just send it to any bitcoin address so it's back in your pocket.



Comprehensive balance history

Every time your balance changes for any reason, we create a history item so that you can audit exactly what happens to your money while it's under our control.



Send money

Your money is yours. As you'd expect, you can send from MoneyPot to any bitcoin address. But you can also send directly to other MoneyPot users without any fees.



Generate addresses

You can use MoneyPot as a general-purpose wallet without even using any apps.

For every address you generate, you can attach a private note to yourself for what it was for. You can also create "Cold" addresses which will be kept out of our hot wallet for your privacy. Perfect for receiving from places, that monitor your outgoing transactions (like coinbase)



Secure your account

You can enable and disable two-factor authentication as your please.

But we also keep track of every login attempt on your account, every active session, and the IP address of each session for your inspection.

if you pay attention and check on the site, moneypot.com is no longer a gambling sites, it is indeed the vault, a feature of bitcoin gambling wallet which allow an investment feature with much more safety precautions than directly investing in the site

For now, no, as There is only 1 sites that is connected to the vault (moneypot) which is dustdice. In the future it might be use more frequently as more sites are connected to the vault (moneypot)

It's a good idea, I don't think anybody thought about a gambler's wallet that lets you separate your funds. Good thing if you're an addict.
You should think of some ways to set up time locks preventing a losing gambler from draining his wallet

The faq does a good job explaining everything except how an investment is paid out, does it go in your balance?
How often? Assuming traffic picks up.

What section of the wallet will gains go too?

Please clarify this portion of the investor section when you get the chance.

Vault is 100% free, both for users and app developers. On all bets against our bankroll we do take a 50% share of all profit you make.

lets say I will offer a dice game (or any other game) on my website. Vault registered users will have the possibility to play at my site by sending coins to my site and back without any fee for me and the player?

I didnt understand how the provably fair will be handled? you will check it or offer it?

in case I will offer "investors" each bet will go against Vault investors? if yes..... Vault would set the maximum bet amount each time a new bet is done or will the max bet  always be the same?

could I hold bets with my bankroll up to a given risk amount and Vault the amount that will be above?

the 50% share of all profits Vault takes..........when will it be taken? each bet, each end of day? end of week or month?

We offer it as a service. Using it is a prerequisite if you want to gamble against our bankroll, it allows us to make sure your not cheating. And it allows you to make sure we're not cheating you (or your players)

It is not a faucet, but a web wallet.
Ryan seems to be a competent and nice person, but still I wouldn't suggest you to store too much fund on a web wallet unless you want to invest in Dustdice.

Well, I think it is good at what it claim to do - be a gambler's wallet. You just generally don't want use it as your primary wallet - ever. Online wallets are insecure, and even if they call themselves vaults it is still risky business to keep large amount of coins online.

in short yes, moneypot.com ( the vault ) is gambling friendly online wallet which you can use to store some funds for gambling purposes, use some funds for investment feature in dustdice and also. But you can always send the funds to another sites, but for now if you wish to invest in dustdice, it will be through the vault
