The profit dropped from 40 think I even saw 50,000,000 bits a few days ago to 5,688,745 bits! Who is winning ALL these coins and what is their strategy? Luckily I have been slowly divesting as the profits dropped. Any insight into this? Undecided Huh Shocked Shocked

I watched it drop 5 BTC in a matter of a minute or so (I was refreshing the page because it was wildly going down, and each refresh saw a bigger and bigger drop). And yeah, you're right. A week and a half ago or so we were up by 55 BTC+. I was up +2.5% on my investment on 07/27/15, as of today I'm down -19%, so a drop of 21.5% in a matter of a couple weeks.

I had figured a piece of multiple casinos would be somewhat of a safer investment.. I am now having second thoughts and have moved my coins elsewhere, but will be watching this closely

One thing to consider is that some casinos offer really low house edges. For example, this site is on MP and offers up to 0.01% house edge. There are also a couple that are 0.1% or so. All of these I'm sure are contributing to higher variance than normal in terms of losses.

The site house edge has no effect on the investors house edge, see also my explanation. The HE for the investors depends on the bet size and is independent of site HE. However on relatively smaller bets the house edge is incredibly small so I do agree that this could contribute to higher variance compared to other invest-sites.

AFAIK BetterBets has around 5k wagered without any player losses (so player profit stayed the same.) I think this also has an influence.. it basically means that MP and BetterBets do make some profit [1], the players stay the same and the investors lose? Tongue But there is probably also some other MP app where a player is winning big and making the investor profits drop.. not sure which one? Smiley I am planning to make some tool to list all MP apps with some stats in the future.

1) I don't mean that in a negative way.. I know BetterBets is having good promotions too and even gave 3+ bonus coins to the whale. They couldn't do this with small profits. In the end traffic is what the investors should want most and looks like they are doing well.

When I visit the site it says: Investor Profit: +-1,337,263 bits

I know that our LuckyBit Micro is attracting a lot of players (and has a pretty nice volume). I guess BetterBets.io also is responsible for a lot of volume.

9.3k of 11.1k wagered is from BetterBets, so no doubt they are responsible for a lot of volume Wink

But a guy with a private app with only 100 coins wagered (insignificant number) can easily have like 50 coins player profit too :p so it can be difficult to say where the profits went.

PS, BetterBets number 2 on my site http://dicesites.com now, while it is actually a busy week for most dice sites, so very good Smiley

Move the decimal 6 places to the left. There's a 1,000,000 bits to a bitcoin.

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

haha, will fix that today. The view was written a little optimistically:

Code:
+ $$INVESTOR_PROFIT$$ bits

Site profit just dropped below 1BTC. RIP investors.

Special investor promotion: until all investors are back in the green, 100% of MPs profit split is going direct to investors. Hopefully this time will give me a chance to evaluate the fairest way going forward.

This will not affect apps, their profit will remain identical (although their investors might be slightly less grumpy)

Thank you Nico, it means a lot to me personally for your compliment. Your site addition of BetterBets was an achievement I wanted from day one (as you know lol).

This is an awesome thing to do. But is this based on total investments (i.e., when it shows investor profit = 0 it's over) or account-by-account? Like I'm currently down 8.26%, while the site profit as a whole just went back up to positive again.

Until all individual investors are at a net profit

Perfect, and thanks! I keep up with all my stats on a nightly basis so I can track daily return/loss/overall return, Smiley. Looking forward to (hopefully) seeing it rise again!
