So here is the latest and greatest snapshot I promised: https://mega.nz/#!DxVGybJY!_zhoNugTBwnsbmJtxJCWO3CMfqZ1k1O6mkrSVFbjk9wIt is taken about 8-10 hours ago, and it is the same chain both Bittrex and Cryptopia are using! I have made test deposit to Cryptopia and it worked out brilliantly. Looks like finally we have a working exchange again! P.S. I would NOT recommend syncing from the scratch. Most probably you will never sync that way, and end up either on a fork, or being stuck on some obscure block. Snapshot is the way to go for now, until these issues are fixed or new codebase is introduced. I downloaded this snapshop and I'm still stuck at 31 hours left after 8 hours. Do you know why?

I saw that buy order it was 16BTC at first, some serious money there, 8BIT has low supply + Masternode capability so its definitely catching the eyes of investors but still need some improvement to overcome blockchain problems!

Idem for me, synchronisation not working. If it is impossible the synchronization, and it is because some masternodes, are not in the correct chain, that is why there is no synchrony, some masternodes are not using nodes that use cryptopia, but also other nodes that I am sure are causing a fork.

I have managed, until 18 hours ago, from there does not process the chain with any node, applying the previous snapshot. Date: Sun Aug 13 20:13:36 2017 Block height: 1012559 Since there does not synchronize more, a user in the slack suggested to others to use the delayed chain that was in the explorer so I assume that this is the problem a fork occurred, and it has nothing to do with the staking Please Drays when you read this, if you are so kind you could make another snapshot or it will be impossible for us to synchronize the wallet

Are the people having issues synchronizing using the Windows wallet? I think that might have something to do with the problem.

Do you think it is due to the operating system? But I sat on the night sync two wallets on windows, and on Sunday at the time I said more rriba lost synchronization, and it is because several users have also been using the delayed chain that is in the blockexplorer. Although I honestly have not tried to compile in ubuntu

maybe we could ban some masternode (the wrong one) into the console
I'll try later when im back home. Hopefully this will fix the sync problem.
Anyone using windows wallet ? its normal wallet take over 1gb of ram ?

I have compiled it in ubuntu, and it seems to be updating the height of blocks, but I see that cryptopia has lost connections, and syncing. If in ubuntu manages to update beyond the height of block 1012561 then the fork is operating system problem and abandon windows, but then it is the problem of the masternodes, because as I said some users used the chain that weeks ago the dev posted in the Blockexplorer

I'm using the Linux wallet and am able to sync pretty well.
Am working on putting a snapshot together.
I've also noticed that it eats a LOT of memory which I think is very unusual.
@8-Bit-Party
Can you look into why the daemon uses so much memory (at times on my Linux system it wants over 1 GB of memoy)? Other mn coins like DAS use as little as 50 mb.
