Also, when trying to build the headless daemon on a unix machine, I get a double definition of scrypt_core from the both scrypt-x86_64.S and scrypt_mine.cpp -- I commented the one out of scrypt_mine.cpp and that allowed me to build, but I don't like the solution ...

looks like a fresh clone from GitHub doesn't pull 1.5.1 .  trying again.

PnD groups cant afford 700btc volume, it is the second time ENRG has this volume,
from the other hand whale groups can achieve that volume !

Hi Metros,

No masternodes yet but we thinking of that after the fork.
For now 5 ENRG reward for each new block.
With a small wallet (< 1000 ENRG) it is not easy yet to get a stake reward.
Also you can't build extra weight so 24/7 stake is the best strategy to get maximum reward now.
Say you have 10000 ENRG to stake put it 2 blocks you have two tickets for staking.
Total staking coins now 50M and that are about 10000 tickets.
We have 535 new blocks each day so you have a chance of 535/10000 to get a reward for each block.
I think with two blocks of 5000 ENRG you get reward 1 time in 10 days.
An other way of calcualtion is 1M new ENRG each year is generated.
We have now 50M online so that is avarage reward of 2%

One example of a 97k wallet staking 24/7
Earch day one or 2 stakes.

Energy has found a good floor at above 5k satoshi that is good. Actually the recent changes in its market brought me to learn adn read more about this project more. I navigated last 2 pages yet but it already arose interest in me for the project. Recent updates are looking very good.

Help the envirioment with a cryptocoin can be done in many ways.
As you know delivers blockchain us the posibility to program money.
As example the first usecase we start as EnergyCoin Foundation to reward people with tokens registerd on EnergyParty when it is ready.
Tokens are a prove you save energy not going by car to your destination.
Bicycle application exists see www.ring-ring.nu (in Dutch) and uses  a normal database for rewarding bicycle riding.
The cities in The Netherlands are very crowdy with cars. Businesses and municipalities want to promote bicycle usage because the envirioment.
It save CO2 that has value and saves space for parking and improves healt of people.
That are indirect benefits of bicycle usage and some extra taxes on cars can go to bicycle owners.
It is a way of redistibution a money for people doing good for the envirioment.
The same approach for energy usage on times that much renewable energy is available. That is good for balacing the grid and less CO2 is produced.
That are just a few examples and with EnergyCoin Foundation we have a lot of potential business cases we go develop in the near future.
EnergyCoin is in the center of enviriomental crypto applications for humans and our Prove of Stake approach is the indispensable link.
We deserve current value we have and maybe much higher when we have the first application ready.

Etherum uses the same amount of power as an entire country to confirm its transactions, you definitely not saving the planet and cant expect that coin to be cheap to use every day when its costing so much to operate.  At some point all the fundamentals play a bigger part in success of a coin

Also you need to not block the app with the firewall and just give it ten minutes to find connections, sometimes its a bit delayed so give it time.    I do think it'd be ideal if the wallet just was 1 click and go to start off with, so this nodes file needs to be put there automatically.   A SFX rar might do it or probably lots of possible methods.  I know most people will just give up straight away if it doesnt burst into life, so its best if its a no hassle install to get as many interested as possible.

That is the point I hear often that environmentally conscious people don't like the power consumption of Bitcoin and for that reason not see application for blockchain. I don't know if we have to upgrade network power when we scale up in the future but the goal is to save as much energy as posible with EnergyCoin.

The MacOS wallet version 1.5.1 works fine for me.
Download MacOS: EnergyCoin-Qt-1.5.1-osx.dmg
It connects automatically and you can copy the blockchain in this folder on your Mac
