Over the last week or so I have watched BTA's price being driven down on the exchanges.

So I wanted to point out some things...

Recent updates:
Domain name - Bata.io
New Website - Templates and plug ins etc
Android Wallet updated

Keep in mind Bata did not have a premine, IPO, ICO, crowdfund or any other methods of obtaining money from outside sources. Every BTA that is in my possession has been bought or mined.

Bata was released just over 7 months ago - we are still here, same team - no takeovers, no dramas etc.

No donations have been received or sought from the BTA community.

There are less than 8000 blocks till Bata's reward for miners halves from 12.5 to 6.25 - (this equals harder work for miners for less reward = less BTA sold at market bids)

Android Wallet updated

Keep in mind Bata did not have a premine, IPO, ICO, crowdfund or any other methods of obtaining money from outside sources. Every BTA that is in my possession has been bought or mined.

Bata was released just over 7 months ago - we are still here, same team - no takeovers, no dramas etc.

No donations have been received or sought from the BTA community.

There are less than 8000 blocks till Bata's reward for miners halves from 12.5 to 6.25 - (this equals harder work for miners for less reward = less BTA sold at market bids)

One thing I noticed is that there has been no mining activity on Steak Cloud for BATA. We are now moving into week 3 with 0 activity, please note that we usually do not contact communities to inform them of potential desisting due to inactivity however we noticed this post and thought we would inform the community that even if you would not attribute the recent decline in value to loss of buys from Steak Cloud please remember that every little helps. We are more then happy to keep BATA listed and help more the price back to where it was on the exchange of your choice.

It appears a lot of hash caused difficulty to go 200% highers, then suddenly stopped, causing some blocks to take a while to solve.

We are past block 200,000 now.

In my opinion it would be the wrong timing to take BTA away from Steak Cloud as our reward has just reduced from 12.5 to 6.5.

The choice is Steak Cloud's - if you wish to be part of the community then we are happy to have you. A new website nearly finished and we can make more a feature of Steak Cloud's services, which may bring more BTA miners. At the end of the day, I try to promote the services of Steak Cloud when possible, but there is only so much I can do.

If we are to assist with bringing the price up we need to make sure the BATA community are pointing miners to Steak Cloud and as you mentioned now is the best time to do so as the reward for pool miners halved.

Thanks for the question.

The next step of the roadmap will be to add translations to the new website. This will happen sometime next week. Once this occurs I will be targeting the translated language groups via social media.

Transactions are increasing and so is the user base as per block explorer stats.
