How far till halving roughly? in weeks.
There is literally no selling pressure on BTA which is good, people are holding, I wonder if halving is the reason.
All coins mind a few seem to be really quite last few days, no volume getting around. (least the ones I watch)
Except maybe XVG your a fan of that yeah PC? I was in it when it was doged and around 6 sats but the massive number of coins in few hands put me off,
I am back in it and it's still a problem, Big walls both side holding prices pisses me off hugely, why I like these low mintage coins like BTA.
How's your plans coming for the app?
Well we are nearly block 280000, so I would say it would be another 2 -4 weeks or so, hard to estimate due to hashrate, as it may increase or decrease.
Yes you could say I am a fan of XVG and an advocate, but it goes further, we share the same anonymous tech.

First of all great work on Bata it's looking great so far! I am not currently signed up to bitcoin talk so I thought I might drop you a quick message with a couple of my own thoughts on the project.
The App sounds like a great idea with the ability to see local and international sellers of goods and services available on the app. Being able to locate local or close Bata accepted businesses could be a good addition to the App. Also allowing to not only turn on a "open for Bata" indicator but also being able to put up details and pictures of products that could be for sale for Bata may help. For example a seafood business needs to move some specific fresh fish fast, so he can put a picture and a sale price in Bata and hopefully the Bata community will give him the extra 20 percent in sales he needed to sell the product before it spoils.
I really liked the example of the restaurant owner being able to fill the empty seats with Bata customers. I think this example or something like it could be made into a quality promo video? I would be happy to throw in some Bata for a fund towards a video or other promos if needed and maybe the community could be interested as well ? I have seen it being done with other Cryptos.
Another idea about the app, as an incentive for businesses that use Bata, they could be advertised on the app itself automatically sort of like most apps these days with advertising but obviously less annoying then the intrusive screen blocking ones. Maybe like a small moving banner or a random Bata business comes up as you scroll down sort of like twitters approach. This way they can get free advertising just for being able to accept Bata and can open up a potential additional customer base.

These ideas are along the lines of my and the communities thinking.
I have been delayed with translations as they will cost more than anticipated last count on the site was 5000+ words @ 0.09 cents per word ( for one language), the other reason for holding off, I think it would be better to wait for translations to be done after the platform / app is available, otherwise it will need more translation when completed. I am open to thoughts about that.
The only thing is that BTA cannot own the platform, but the community can, so what is the best way of rewarding the community. If exchange plugged in, then any profits generated could go back into liquidity on the exchange.
The Barter system is not a marketplace as such, it is more a business tool or networking, moving stock and freeing up funds. Many successful Barter sites exist, but they are based on a debt system with a line of credit aka trade dollars (tokens). BTA replaces tokens as it is a currency that is traded on 8 different exchanges, so your BTA today most likely will be worth more in the long term, which can also work like an investment.
