The guys in iceland knows better, but I think we will get newspaper covering not long after May 1 - and from there we expect multiple media attention. There is very good things brewing that we can't disclose yet (media related) that would give auroracoin very good coverage and credibility.
Outside Iceland, medias are contacting us. At first i was proposing paid press release/article, but it is now obvious that it is worthless. We will get full coverage without asking anybody.
Where is all this? I can not see anything. I am not talking about one or two newspaper, multiple media attention? Where is the Saturday TV interview? Also, Where is the video about the but stop campaign? I have not seen a bus stop right in the city centre, all are in isolated area with no passenger, I like this coin to succeed but we can not talk without evidence as you lose credibility and people will think is al white smoke. You need to show to the world you mean what you are saying. Only words are not valid. Need to be backup with events and facts. We are very happy how things are going and will continue with our plan. There will be more news this month but all that is being worked on will be revealed once it is done. |

Yes but you need a social ID that is given specifically for that purpose and you need to be present here in Iceland to get it. Fairly standard I would guess. "social ID" = "kennitalia" ?!? Yes. "Kennitala" is your birthday example 12 Month example 05 and year example 93 than 4 extra digits ending with the decate you were born so standard kt =120593-2549 So I show up in some official place in Rejkjavik and request a kennitala (as a foreigner) for opening a bank account and they will issue one and put it into the database with certain properties that will allow me to use it for opening an account with one of your banks? |

I read a bit and checked out what info is required for a longer (>6 month) stay (you need to document how you plan to support yourself and be insured (helath), also you need a domicile that is your primary one). One can also get a Kennitalia for a shorter stay without a domicile, for example when looking for a job, but it hasn't become clear to me how that would be done (other than using "Registers Iceland"). |

I think the application goes through the bank, the bank makes a special application for you for the purpose to create a bank account. You of course need to show a passport fill out and sign a money laundry statement etc. and I think you will then need to revisit the bank a few days later when the ID is ready and you can finish the process. |

The campaign ran here and the intended audience was reached, they saw it and it happened. When we publish the video (might publish the raw file) i will post it at 6k Facebook group we have for Icelanders. Send out on 1k mailing list we have for Icelanders and in the end publish in here. Same goes for other news. We are targeting Icelanders and the exposure we are looking for is happening at a faster rate than we dreamed of. We just finished a photo shoot for the story at ice lands biggest media company. When will it air? i don´t know probably tomorrow and then i will publish the link in here but that will be after most of the Icelanders will see the article. Like we said multiple times there is a lot going on behind the scenes, we are very busy at the moment and everything will be revealed this month, video is not top priority and if anyone can step in and help with the work in will be appreciated. |

You can not spent a fortune in putting Aurora in bus stops in the capital of Iceland and then not to have the tools to cover it, its like saying a man has been in the moon and not recorded it then no one will know that actually happened. I'm sorry if you feel disappointed Porte, but the fact of the matter is that those bus-add's were meant to create awareness to the people of Iceland. If you live in Iceland, you will most certainly have seen them, if you don't live in Iceland, well I guess It wasn't meant for you to see in the first place. But if you are really interested in the progress we are making, you should perhaps practice a little patience. The effects of the campaign are massive in Iceland and the results of that won't show in just a week. Still we already have a lot of requests from Icelandic and foreign media so you will see those results soon enough. And again, the people that were supposed to see the adds have seen it, so to them it DID happen. That has always been our clear objective, to reach the people of Iceland. If the objective was to impress anonymous people on a crypto forum we would have probably not chosen an expensive local campaign in Iceland but rather invented some non existing new tech-savy new ICO system. If you are looking for that, you are almost in the right place, just go up one level. |

Well just in case you missed my post answering your original question about this then you can read that on the previous page. If you already did then I think you missed the whole point here. The bus stop campaign wasn't for you, it was for the Icelandic public which actually happened to see it so it really did happen for them. So the fact that you didn't see yet! a video that I took a full day off work to prepare and then paid someone to drive around the city to shoot because I couldn't take another day off work to do, does not mean that we are not organised nor that the campaign is for nothing. What it means is that we are short of hands (I don't see a lot of people here jumping in to help) and we prioritise our work (organising it) and to provide you with this video has lower priority than attending to promotional work here in Iceland where people will actually be using the coin as a currency and are likely to help with the project. Leading to new pair of hands that are actually contributing to the project. That does not mean you will not get to see the video, it just means that there were other tasks were executed first. |

You saw pictures, tweets, news articles, etc. Would you rather we put the money and effort into making a video to appease BCT followers, or put the money and effort into the systems that we are focussing all of our time and personal money into that will drive adoption? We have priorities... the video was discussed, but it was not at the top of that list. What do you want... our focus on a video or the systems that will drive adoption? It's been a few days since new marketing strategies have been executed. What is next after the bus stop campaign, cointelegraph articles and local Iceland media? The price is suffering because of the media blackout.
Disagree. AUR has recently been pumped in price. Then the multi-algo switch occurred allowing quite a lot of AUR to be obtained at low difficulty. There is bound to be some profit taking after that. |

AUR has gotten more media attention in the last 2 weeks than 99% of alt coins in the past few months (most have never gotten a mention in a news publication period.) It is clear you have an agenda to lower the price by making a mountain out a molehole with this bus stop video issue, a video I would rank on one the lowest rung of campaign attention. We all have proof the bus ads went up, what is the video going to accomplish other than building another hype cycle event for a daily pump? How many alt coins can you name that have their own dedicated currency exchange? Do you know the amount of legal hurdles and work that goes into building an exchange? This is not something a couple kids do on their free time on the weekends. Look how long it took the Winklevoss exchange to open and they are multi-millionaires. |
