My suggestion for the ISK exchange is to have 0% fees and create more volume to have the illusion that the exchange is busier then it is. This will attract the Icelanders into thinking they missing out, I know you people are most likely doing this already but try push it to $50k . Then pay some puppet at cointelegraph and newspaper in Iceland to write up a articles about the influx of people.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will not participate in market manipulation. We already have 460 users after day 1 of business. Media attention is very good and all biggest news sites, newspapers have contacted us for a interview. We will be on the evening news tonight as well. We will never pay for interviews. There is a lot yet to be revealed in the big plan.

Nudge Nudge Wink WInk. 460 users Wink.
I was always told "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch" but with AUR getting all this "free" media attention I have to review this statement. Well done!!
460 = 0.14% of the nation, do the math with Holland. Did you not you sell all your Auroracoins?

Come on apcoins, cut the bullshit. 420 of those test accounts? Volumes would be over $20000 daily.

Non bullshit, 340 accounts registerd in the last 30 hours 120 accounts registerd while in Beta.

The exchange is set up in that way that no test account can register, only legit accounts through the service at http://island.is you can get any Icelander to verify this service if you choose not to believe what i am saying

So im kind of screwd, I had around 40.000 Aur on Cryptsy and could not get them out when they closed. Guessing they had more Aur on the exchange than they had in theyr wallets. Is there some chance of getting them back (like it looks like with MTGox now)..

Some type of mass lawsuit against them or anything  Undecided

We are monitoring their cold wallet and will report any movements to bittrex and other exchanges. At this time all we know is what has been reported on twitter "Internet & wallet server physical location has been given to the receivership representative.  Bittrex held funds information was also given"

It's not only corrupt and scam exchange you have to worry about, it's scam creators

So im kind of screwd, I had around 40.000 Aur on Cryptsy and could not get them out when they closed. Guessing they had more Aur on the exchange than they had in theyr wallets. Is there some chance of getting them back (like it looks like with MTGox now)..

This latest article from cointelegrsph sets auroracoin  up really nicely for a big surprise next month.

http://cointelegraph.com/news/saving-icelands-economy-did-auroracoin-fail-its-mission

At the end she lets slip that an icelandic bank has started a campaign to educate icelanders about crypto currency.

Expect auroracoin to be part of this strategic campaign, still to be announced next month.

Auroracoin is trading at a massive discount here.

This wonderful person with morals in the right place had every right to express these thoughts , this person is not asleep.

AUR is only about making the scam developer rich and a few others that have joined the party. AUR is not about breaking the shackles of financial freedom, it will end up hurting the people of Iceland. Bitcoin is the only currency I would feel comfortable with my people being involved with.

The DEV team should not pay attention to the lurking scammers. You just loose precious development time to them.
And by making this you feed their hope in robbing you.
It's a waste of time on both sides!  Grin

Did they ever find who the original dev was that rigged the airdrop and if he still has AUR , if Eggert is telling the truth.

You can read the following and make an informed decision. I am a firm believer that the person who was behind the creation of AUR is hiding in plain sight.

From the controversy section on wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auroracoin

MP Frosti Sigurjónsson, a member of the ruling Progressive Party and Chairman of the EATC, suggested in a blog post on his website that there is evidence that Auroracoin is an illegal financial "scam".

Links you can read for yourself and many more.

Auroracoin is the biggest scam pulled on this board ever! The airdrop is in large parts staged. Balduro, the initiator of this scam who is hiding himself controls most of the supply of the coin and tries to launder the premine to his private adresses to later dump the coins on unsuspecting speculators and the people of iceland! It's about robbing a whole nation of their hard earned money! This must be stopped!

Why have you a giant hardon against AUR?

Everyone of your posts are against AUR.

Why hide with your shill account?

You have no problem with supporting a scam, the truth gets you backlash on here. Why would these Dutch people care about Iceland? It's all about money for them, don't be fooled it's more then this. They don't care about the people of Iceland.

I will carry on spreading the word in Iceland while the people who don't live in Iceland can come here and put their greed in a scam before the truth.

Open your minds and eyes and put the puzzle together, this has been a plan long in the making. Try do something right or this is going to be far worse then the banking system you all want to hate on.

Eggert if you want to talk about a scam lets talk about how the Icelandic króna is distributed, who gets 90% of the money and how its done. How the money printing continues to devalue the króna causing inflation and burning up our economy.

The only scam I can see is Eggert trying to manipulate the price to get it lower to buy some more!

Funny of Eggert to point at Cryptcy's  bankruptcy and someones loss because of that and try to connect the developers to Cryptcy going bankrupt and somehow that is related to the airdrop.

Even funnier of Eggert to point out that Cointelegraph is covering Auroracoin as if that is a bad thing and somehow a conspiracy, making the devs rich. Please!

Eggert then continues to point to an Icelandic politician that was backing up our Panama paper former PM, that had to resign. Please point to someone with credibility. Now I'm guessing Eggert supports the Framsók party in Iceland, such a shame.

Eggert's last quote is a post pointing out yes some people sold their coins on Cryptcy/Mintpal and yes some people collected from the airdrop form more than one person, like me, that claimed for my whole family on one address. Then yes, some school kids claimed for their entire class and payed them out in ISK. That is called trading!

Like Hermann said, we welcome you to have a talk about all your accusations over a cup of coffee and we can perhaps share with you why we believe in Auroracoin over the Icelandic króna.

Satoshi is more respected then the central banks. We will never know why some anonymous Dutch guy created AUR to help the Icelandic people .  A cup of coffee would be a waste of money and time discussIng the intentions of the creator and how much AUR he has stashed in cold storage.

TV interview is saturday right ?  I would suggest someone record - add subtitle and share on youtube.

Is it an important TV channel and at what time?

I am hoping to see a massive pump in price over 150 000 sat within the month, if all this marketing doesn't do it I don't know what will.

There is only one thing that can create a decent sustainable price and that is real adoption of the currency. We are just starting down that road and though we are getting a lot of attention now it will take some time to get people to use it and for the economy to evolve. I would keep all hope of a quick gains here in moderation.

Getting close to 50% of the daily volume on ISX. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/auroracoin/#markets

It's picking up nicely.

I think it will dwarf the volume on bittrex soon.

How do I become a citizen of Iceland? ;-)

will flow to iceland, but way to go. In the next months, there will be some challenges, and already great solutions being discussed. One of these challenges is how to get AUR back to iceland ?   There is already a lot of AUR in iceland, but we dont know yet how many will actually hit the market. So foreign aur will somewhat need to be ''imported''.

From then, i guess ISX will drain Bittrex action / lets work toward this !

One suggestion, get in touch with some tourist businesses and see if they'd be willing to give discounted rates if foreign tourists come to Iceland and pay in Auroracoin.

That would likely get some of my AUR flowing back.
