Hey guys I just got back from afrika burn.

I've missed you guys but have had a great week off with new friends from all over the globe. Except for Iceland.

Do Icelanders travel much?

sha256 and skein mining on aurpool.com seems okay. Don't seem to get a share count on qubit, and get low difficulty share rejects on myr-gr. When do payouts occur? Where can I see my balance?

Scaling and transaction rate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=532.msg6306#msg6306
Do not allow demand to exceed capacity. Do not allow mempools to forget transactions. Relay all transactions. Eventually confirm all transactions.

The pool is rejecting blocks for some reason.  I will be shutting down the other algos until I can resolve the issue.

Not exactly what you want to wake up to first thing in the morning.  Embarrassed

Was having the same problem with groestl but then I found out that you should use 'groestl' algo not 'myr-gr'.

Also diffs seemed to be wayout. Never seen such a high Qubit diff, and my USB miner reported so many sha256 found blocks that I now own half of Iceland!

With me Skein mining gives a low amount of shares and much invalid shares, Qubit gives no shares en Groestl all shares rejects because of low difficulty. I use the same ccminer version and command lines as at Digibyte. There it is working without problems

How come sha256 has several terrahasshing power and script has much less but still earns equal coins per block?

Each algo has its own difficulty. Cryptocoin 101, look it up.

It has to do with keeping the block rewards more or less even between the algorithms, with different difficulties to make that so.

No one type of mining can dominate, in order to help with decentralization.

It believe it was mentioned when the subject of the multi-algo was first started.

This is how multi-algo works.  Each algo has a separate difficulty, so when the difficulty evens out and stabilizes, it won't matter whether you have 20 petahash in sha256,  or 10 megahash in qubit... you'll have an equal chance at finding a block at your algo's difficulty.

Give it a day or so to even out, and you'll see much more even distribution of algo blocks.  We still don't have a ton of people mining on the CPU/GPU algos, so you'll see an increase there as well.

Defo should by myr-gr, as I just solo mined a block.

Then can you calculate an avaerage difficulty?

Again, there is a difficulty for each algo.  There is no overall average.  Just run the getinfo debug command and it will show you each difficulty.

Yeah, you are right. This is what worked for me on aurpool.com but when I tried solo and crypto.office-on-the.net it is definitely myr-gr that works. Sorry about that.

Is there any significance to 4 terrahasshing coming on line?

Does this create better encryption?
