Any views on % split of rewards between service node operators and miners? See sheet 2 of this spreadsheet

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_h-vf1YOjXT9B1ELiOuRh8GG0OmsxSVwqwpEeJLcjIY/edit#gid=1994079775

There is some exciting news about revenue splits between node operators and miners, but we'll just have to wait a little longer. In the meantime, thoughts on above as a starting point?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Yup, same here. Eagerly waiting for service node testing to begin!

I too am waiting for SN testing. I'm expecting to wait another 2 weeks - 2 months before testing starts.

So don't be disappointed if we aren't testing by the end of the month Smiley

I expect that testing will be broken into baby step chunks.  Hopefully this means that testing will start sooner than we currently expect.

I've got my fingers crossed... Crossed?.. Crossed.

I guess I'll just jump in with a statement of the obvious.  We need miners and node operators in equal measures.  Given that mining (Spread)X11 is expensive I would hope that miners are suitably incentivised to support the Spreadcoin network.

As servicenodes are the main aspect of differentiation between a seemingly endless number of coins and will ultimately be the catalyst that will drive large scale spr adoption, it's imperative to facilitate their existence by ensuring profitability for operators.

I'm confident spr will see a price rise, but if it's stable at .00007 following the release of servicenodes, I would be strongly in favor of increasing the rewards to service node operators to 60 percent initially while limiting the maximum number of nodes to ~300 to ensure monthly earnings of ~.035 btc which at the very least should cover vps costs.

My default choice would be:
