Hey Spreadcoiners

I am trying to mine using my Nvidia GPU, using the miner link provided on the first page. I have followed the instructions, made the conf-file with my private key in appdata, but even though the example.bat is supposed to "work right off the bat", I get this error when I run it: "Result for nonce blablabla does not validate on CPU!".

Was I supposed to edit the example.bat in any way? Does the spreadminer.conf need to contain any other information than my private key?

Thanks for the reply. I am already using the latest version you refer to, and I also followed the instructions from here https://github.com/spreadcoin-project/SpreadCoin-Wiki/wiki/Mining-Guide.

I wish I knew how to fix that error message. It is mentioned here: https://github.com/tsiv/spreadminer/releases, but it does not offer a solution as far as I can tell.

Speaking of rising.

Number one at BitTrex for now in volume and the diff is rising again. I like the easy blocks. Smiley

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

You know how it goes - if I share it with you, there's no reason not to share it with everyone; if I do that, difficulty goes up and makes it worthless.

Fair play. I didn't know if you were working on the miner for fun, fee % or for your own mining. Best of luck with the easy mining while it lasts Wolfo.

I did do it for fun, then somebody bought a copy off of me - so I can't really give it away now.

I'd be happy to give you a percentage of mining. I'm looking to get the dust covers off my rigs over the holiday period.

New Spreadcoin Block Explorer

I'm pleased to announce that spreadx.eu is now live.

I'll be adding network statistics and service node status checking in due course.

Many thanks to Chaositec for doing the grown up bits!

I have a small observation about the new block explorer(which is great). It shows the UTC/GMT time and not the local time. Maybe it is supposed to be like that but personally I prefer it showing my local time like cryptoid explorer does.

Keep up with the good work guys Wink

SpreadCoin is going to be a huge competitor to DASH and other major altcoins.

To put things in perspective, DASH has an over $16,000,000 USD marketcap. On the other hand, SpreadCoin has a marketcap of $75,000 USD. SPR doesn't have a massive instamine, is fully decentralized with no pools,  and is about to release a feature that will shake every other fork of BitCoin. The room for SPR's marketcap to grow is huge (a major incentive for new investors), while DASH's marketcap is over-inflated. With the actual release of ServiceNodes (which allow decentralized applications for SPR), we can only expect that this coin's future is looking very bright.
