In May 2015, TheAltTrader and other community members create this community takeover from this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1039964.0

From May 2015 to September 2015, TheAltTrader leads the community takeover, now known as the BTX Project and all this is achieved:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1140039

In September 2015, MCDev becomes the BTX Leader and leads the BTX Project.

The 25th February 2016, TheAltTrader officially leaves the BTX Project.

BTX Team:

BTX Leader: MCDev
BTX Dev: Cryptovote
Linux and Windows Expert: PrometheusX
BTX Spanish Facebook Page: Tech999
Willzminame: PR
Coinbuddy: PR

In a nutshell, what makes BTX different from BTC ?

- PoS
- Lucky Stake: Gives a chance to all users to get big PoS stakes
- Masternodes: Users create nodes that help secure the network and get rewarded with 66.7% of the network's PoS Stake. 250'000 BTX necessary to create 1 Masternode.
- InstantX: Lightning Fast transactions. Way faster than BTC. (About to be implemented)

Ya..placebo managed the coin during the takeover and then alttrader took it over again. Its complicated, but thats were we are at.

Vegas

Indeed. Placebo wanted to move on after saving the coin. So I decided to take over  Grin

Correct. Smiley But that was the original plan as discussed in the beginning Smiley Get BTX back on C-CEX and repair the broken coin. I believe in the new team and they are really dedicated to make BTX a success, i'm more a person that promote and run escrows for other coins. Goodluck guys, i'm pretty sure that a lot can be achieved with the current team.

Pow has ended to the best of my knowlege. Pow ended at block 2800. Its all POS now.

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

BTW: I just sent the updated information to Richie..

Time to do some tweets.

https://twitter.com/freedom190000/status/595689333258084352

Honestly, the BTX team has proven their qualities and commitments that it certainly should get a second chance to be listed on Bittrex. This is the best takeover that i remember in more then 2 years time.

You need to get leveldb. Execute this from src directory
Code:
git clone https://github.com/google/leveldb leveldb

Ok so is this going back into pow for the third time now?

Vegas

Who is saying that? I don't understand why people ask for a pool as you cannot mine it anymore. A multipool that is what we need.

Yes, just to clarify, it's not possible to mine via POW. This coin is 100% POS.
