There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

the challenge isn't getting the 1.1.1.2 link, the challenge is about Not Losing All of your Coins when attempting a Receive Coins to the Wallet syncing issues plague the 1.1.1.2 and nobody on the forum knows how to troubleshoot ---- Dev is AWOL again already ----- probably gone for good this time. UK has built out stiff Pump and Dump law, which means that the primary use case of PKB is dead

Hi, Just a small comments I heard about this project from Twitter few days ago. It seems that the dev is very honest and working hard by reading his comments on this forum and on twitter. I don't worry a lot about the delisting it on Bittrex. I will buy some soon before the delisting.
Absolutely correct, pick up some very very cheap PKB from scared people.... Good Luck!!! Just make sure you move it out to your own wallet before it gets delisted or you will lose it all. Bullshit and.... bullshit IMHO. P.S. I really think it's either people commenting stuff like that are either paid or around average US IQ level. Again, imho. Oh, or desperate bagholders. Again, imho. If You think I'm Bullshitting, Then Prove Me Wrong. I have detailed evidence to back up my assertions. 1. TX stuck in limbo due to Non-Sync Wallet 2. bitcointalk community doesnt know how to support 3. Parkbyte "Dev" is nowhere to be found. This issue could potentially be resolved if a 1.1.1.2 enhancement was pushed out to resolve sync issues, but because nobody seems to care (or they lack the skill), people like myself get Robbed there are 1,000 stronger projects available. move past this turd. go buy some lotto tickets instead of PKB (w/ plans to "stake")

What, you want me, like other users, to show you the successful TX from bittrex to my local wallet that I just made and it took like 1.5mins to receive my coins? Wallet is syncing and working just flawlessly (v1.1.0.0)!!! And if you have some hardware/software problems, or just not very tech savy, no need to blame the DEVs. Better use the time to read some related info sources or just buy lotto tickets indeed

Everything you need to sync is in this thread. If you still can't get it working due to a personal firewall issue, that's your fault.

Hey mate, the developer currently is working on the logistics and getting big players on board before continuing with the code/github. The programming is basically done and now secondary to the logistics. Once that happens things will pick up again and start to move fast.

Hey! The project looks great. I studied the project whitepaper and I liked the idea. I hope that this ICO will be successful. Wish you good luck for the project and Devs.

Do any other ParkByte "True Believers" have any ideas??
deleted all wallet data/ dirs except the wallet.dat itself spent 2 days attempting the full blockchain sync --- and again its lost/ Stuck Out of Sync
system is Windows 7, run of the mill laptop. If ParkByte and wallet/ client 1.1.1.2 was a friendly, there would be a way to trouble shoot around syncing issues quicker and without yelling so loud. somebody threw out the phrase "personal firewall" earlier. I watched it sync to about 900k blocks before going into the anomaly.
Are there structural issues near 1 million block?? total blocks are up to about 1.4 million now right?

@Var_yanis
try this: 1. Create folder MyPKBwalletWithCoins and move wallet.dat with those addresses in to that folder. If you want to be sure, make more backups of that wallet.dat. 2. Delete all content in AppData/Roaming/Parkbyte. 3. Download that bootstrap.dat from Darkstar link. Copy it into empty AppData/Roaming/Parkbyte, even without the wallet dat. 4. Start the parkbyte client, let it process bootstrap. Once this is done, you will have new empty wallet.dat there with new address, just let the client to sync, check if your sync was correct comparing it with pkb insight. 5. Close the parkbyte client, wait a bit, till it is not in yours running programs, move empty new wallet.dat into folder MyPKBWalletNoCoins. Copy the wallet.dat from step 1 into the AppData/Roaming/Parkbyte, restart the client.
As long as you keep the wallet.dat, where the private key for that fromBittrex address is, you have your coins.
For future note, with staking coins, is good to have 2 wallet.dat files, as syncing wallet after some weeks is better and quicker on empty wallet.dat, and doing step 5, some clients think they are in sync even they are not yet and start staking.

FINALLY got it working! thanks to those who continued to provide support. Make sure not to lose your wallet.dat files. I required multiple directory clean outs and a 2+ day full sync before getting it all squared up Not sure it matters at this point. Parkbytes are 300 satoshi. got scammed and bought into this project above 10k satoshi. basically got robbed pure PoS must mean Piece of Shit - not Proof of Stake

look, they started at that prices back in time, I was mining them in pow, sold some in half of the peak, paid my el. bills from mining, some profit after bought back to original levels.
If silver will deliver, it may be still nice return,
if they will go lower, I will maybe open account on yobit and buy more.
Risky investment, but good idea.
Well, we will see.
