http://104.236.58.93:3000/almost done, dressed it up a bit.. still need to get the p2p to connect so it updates instantly instead of having to refresh the page. not bad for a days work though  Looking good. |

Wait a Minute, why the name change? ?? I don't have an issue the name but the truth is many people have a negative attitude towards DOGE and by extension DOGED. So even though DOGED is in another category and much better some will brush it off due to the DOGE name |

Wait a Minute, why the name change? ?? I;m in the boat with you. I personally like DOGED (I say it like "diggity") and it is well-packaged as-is with the radio station etc. I think it is well-branded and performing appropriately for a crypto that can be seriously treated as money, dev is constantly working on it... ...I believe it will get the attention it deserves, on its own, and be more reliable and consistent as a result of not doing things like this. Just my .00000002. I like that we have a goofy, irreverent kinda net community going on which echoes dogecoin but is a bit more ...er...tech/issues-minded overall. .00000002 more 4 ya PLURcakes |

I'm not necessarily a fan of changing the name. I like "doged"/"dogecoindark" for now but am not against a name change either.
However, if we do change names, consider the following:
1. Adopting a name w/o the words "coin," "pay," "hash," etc. (anything that's been used by a coin already).
2. Since this coin has a privacy angle to it, I'd choose a name that highlights that angle. For example, a straw purchase or strawperson is sometimes used to facilitate a transaction when a party to said transaction can't or won't complete the transaction himself/herself for some reason. Privacy is often a reason for using an extra layer, or straw, in a transaction. Accordingly, I'd consider the name "Straw" or "Straws" (or some other name that accentuates one more main features of the coin) in the event a rebranding/new name is desired.

changing the name would NOT affect the network, just so everyone is aware. it would just take a week or two, in order to make sure the name instance was changed everywhere.

I think a voting topic would be good. Somethings to consider Name has to do with privacy / security. Drop the word "coin" Drop any reference to "dark" Drop any reference to Dogecoin as they don't want to play with us |
