I should have found ~3.5 blocks since upgrading to 1.0 but I haven't find anything. I'm not sure if solomining works anymore (or KlausT's miner) or I'm just that awfully unlucky with this coin.

Though ever since I started mining this coin, I'vee been really unlucky and found maybe half as many blocks as I should have on paper.

the hashrate is somehow 33% higher, how can you mine with the 1.0 version, it does not work for me with that fork

someone don't want that other know that this is the most profitable? or just a bug

What is the profitable? 8 G\h, within 30 days did not match any block!

that's bad luck, you must understand that 8 giga only give you 0.02 on other algo per day, x 30 is 0.6, current block reward give you 0.28 btc with sia

you are probably on a bad variance, i would mine this only with 100GH

In 30 days you should have seen on average 4 blocks.  I have been mining with 5 GH/sec and have been noticing the same pattern.  Seems something is fishy.  Also noticed that the difficulty went up recently by a good margin when the hash rate went down which makes no sense.  How can the difficulty go up when the hash rate goes down?  Already posed this question and waiting for an answer.

So apparently I just found a block but it's not showing up in the GUI wallet, however siac says so:

>siac [...] miner
Miner status:
CPU Mining:   off
CPU Hashrate: 0 KH/s
Blocks Mined: 1 (0 stale)

>siac [...] wallet
Wallet status:
Encrypted, Unlocked
Confirmed Balance:   0 H
Unconfirmed Delta:  +0 H
Exact:               0 H
Siafunds:            0 SF
Siafund Claims:      0 H

It will show when matured if not an orphan. After a day or so.

Upgraded to the new (v.1.0) wallet.

Curiously, when I close the wallet, although the Sia process (as displayed under 'Apps' in my windows task manager) shuts down, the task manager continues showing nine 'Sia Electron' processes and one 'siad' process continuing as 'background processes'. The only way to close down the wallet seems to be to restart the PC.

I did try using the stop daemon command in the Terminal tab but that returned an error message.

I must be missing something obvious but what?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks Smiley

I have double that and I only (hopefully) found my first block today since 1.0 came out - so yeah, 5 days. I should have find roughly 4 blocks by now.

I've been mining this coin for 360 hours with some downtime and in the beginning the diff only increased every few days and not by that much but lately it increased a lot. It's basically twice of what it was.

So after height 270,000 of 300k coin blocks, there will be 81b coins in existence.  That's a lot of coins.

When do the 30k coin blocks stop emitting?  I'm trying to figure out the max supply here.  That question seems to be getting avoided.

Sia-UI continues running in the system tray by default on Windows.  You can quit it by right clicking the tray icon and clicking "Quit Sia"

No they don't as you can see in the chart 44.5 billion at around block 270000 in 4 years and 48 billion in about 7 years and then slow inflation of about 3% being reduced over time.

Can the latest version be compiled for armv71 and will it work?

UPD: Will answer to myself. It can be built but doesn't work - can't allocate memory. The block DB seems to be too large.

The block I found was an orphan because it didn't get credited.

And the difficulty jumped up again. 3924761 GH/block. Crazy.
