I'm still buying Wink

Can someone give me access to the website to add a forum ?

It would be silly to put a forum up behind one of my sites that has no reference at all to LDOGE

Also my offer of free hosting still stands if you wish to take me up on it, just let me know.

Which software do you want to install? I got a shared hosting (No ssh), so on my hosting nodebb is not possible. If you want smf or something like that, i can do a installatron in a minute?

So can I

But its pointless putting a forum up on the back of one of my websites, I mean who will goto www.umine.co.uk/ldoge_forum, or www.cryptogaming.club/ldoge_forum

No one will do that will they, it needs to be on a LDOGE related url

Therefore we asked to give your server iP so we can change dns?

*scratching head*...
Well, in order to change the dns records, he has to host the site to his server, otherwise dns will point to a black hole.
crunck is actually asking if you want him to host the site (so he will be able to add the forum) or if you are going to give him admin access to wherever is already hosted, to do the job (then you can change password if you are worried about this).

Hmmm... let me explain how DNS works..

I have the site with a custom cms. The site runs good and, so yes with the custom cms I can't move it to a 'free' hosting.

The forum.
If you install SMF or something which don't require ssh, it would be easier I would use installatron to set it up, since it is just a few clicks.

If you want to install a modern forum like nodebb, you would have to give me your server's ip. So i can point the subdomain f.e. forum.litedoge.info to your server.

With other words, you can host a domain on a server in the US, and a subdomain on a server in china.

What would you all like to see fixed in the wallet *first*?  We have devs.  Where do you see the wallet headed?  Or, does it work good for now (the staking is great and everything works great!) or do you want to see something change?

First we need to update the GUI and compile OSX (MAC), Windows & Linux wallets (rename as version 2)

Second develop mobile wallet -  Android / iOS (Lite wallet)

Thirdly add features:

  • Develop lite block chain for all wallets
  • Reduce block rewards

Block 201,000 — 249,999: 10,000 LiteDoge Reward
Block 201,000 — 499,999: 5,000 LiteDoge Reward
Block 500,000 +             : 2,500 LiteDoge Reward

I'd really like to see getting the website/forum worked out.  Also, it appears everyone who was going to dump has done so.  Good!  Now we can get on to building this coin!  There are good days ahead... let's work together and make it happen.

What would you all like to see fixed in the wallet *first*?  We have devs.  Where do you see the wallet headed?  Or, does it work good for now (the staking is great and everything works great!) or do you want to see something change?

I for one would like to see a mobile wallet that is linked to my primary staking wallet.  The mobile wallet wouldn't stake but the primary would.  So you could spend your coins with your smart phone from a staking wallet.  Thoughts?

I'm so glad to see everyone pitching in and doing what they can to help.  Now THIS is the true beginning to this coin!

Stake on!
- heathkid (IRC)

My inputs: I would firstly like to see a Windows wallet upgrade and also a Mac version if possible.

Dev can obtain detail from following dropbox (read pdf first).

Edit: forgive me, I didn't want to sound cocky... and it wouldn't be right to delete the post either. If this works for you, then do it - I had something completely different in mind. Anything is good as long as it doesn't bust your head with problems.... lol

OK. What the fork just happened?

Is version 1.0.0.1-g32a928e still the correct version? No way I should be getting the amount of blocks that I am right now.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

The current win wallet version is v1.0.0.1-g32a928e.  The current mac wallet is version v1.0.0.2-g32a928e (has updated GUI).  The frequency that you stake also depends on how many coins you have in your wallet and the current difficulty.

Yes, the more coins you have the more frequently you will stake.  Once you get to say 10 mil you should stake a few times a day.  15 mil will stake a lot more frequently than someone with 5 mil coins in their wallet.

Just seems strange.

I only had about 1.2 million, maybe. All of a sudden I have about 50 stakes today and they are confirming.

Did you check them against the block explorers to make sure that they were correct?

You should not have forked, but with that many stakes I would be concerned as well.  If you are on the correct chain, then you got very lucky today and congrats.  If you are not then I am sure that people here or on IRC would be able to assist you in fixing whatever issue you are having.

I sync pretty fast using this conf:

addnode=91.121.6.19
addnode=183.91.4.3
listen=1

I sync pretty fast using this conf:
addnode=93.157.4.11
addnode=91.121.6.19
addnode=183.91.4.3
listen=1
daemon=1

A few other things that may help assess or fix your issue:
1. Make sure that you have the correct wallet version, which currently would be 1.0.0.1-g32a928e for Windows or v1.0.0.2-g32a928e for Mac
2. How many coins do you have? The more coins you have the better your stake weight
3.Do you know what size blocks they are in (this can be controlled and viewed by using coin control)?  They should be in blocks of 50000 or more to stake well.
4. If you do not have a conf file, then create one.  It may not be necessary, but it helps quite a bit.
5. For the conf file, you can replace addnode=183.91.4.3 with addnode=37.187.99.136 from heavensopen's conf example above and that may help as well.  the 183.91.4.3 IP is no longer up as it was being run by the original dev.

Good luck and let us know if that helped, and if it did not work for you then let us know and we will be happy to try something else.  Also, if you would like more immediate assistance, there is normally at least 1 or 2 people in the IRC channel #litedoge on freenode that can help.

So much posts and for what? I'm not update my wallet since last hardfork(that was doing by aquitas,not MinerFTW-he post that by yourself in old thread) and not use any .conf files. And all that time it's worked fine and stake well without any problems and continue do that now.And my wallet not needed nodes what was getting and after closed. In real price go up when aquitas post info about his masternodes plan,because it's really good idea. And fall when MinerFTW with his newbie accounts start to posted negative about that. You see all now a result of his "hard work". Many ppl lost money in result of Miner fud. What he really do here or may be in his own shitcoin( "Sooncoin" )? Starting to blame about problems,that m.b. would be with darksend function,when all is work fine in reall. Getting like example a XPY - Ponzischeme coin,where main problem was a hidden coins,that was not be destroyed,not a darksend mode. It's a all was posts by MinerFTW,include that he not a windows warrior,he not know PoS. PoS coins not needed mobile and online wallets,it's also his opinion. And not one post with his own point of view about roadmap in that case. Aquistas not close his main nodes by that time since start,that's why my wallet is worked without issues,so even he not do anything what can be sync out a d57heinz wallet. You are (miner ) looks like a bitsta and company in the past. But in real bitsta at first added anything really new functions in wallets by himself to get a respect. What you do? Dumped the price by your fud,further maincoin(make a site here) and bitrev(guy who are really do any pr work for LDOGE) go out,because you are start to throlling them,when they are ask you a simple questions? Excellent.
Always ppl who doing anything have any issues,it's normal. And all that problems fixing if ppl who do that see a respect from others who are interested in innovations and normal development. Aquitas start that coin he is a dev,who are not post much more in thread but show a results of his work(really good results and nice ideas). He have only one problem,lol,not ignore ppl like Miner and his accs. Many really good ppl simple go out with silence from here by your actions Miner.Its a fact and ppl see that.You can ignore that post or start to play your lovely game with fudding same posts by your army of newbie accounts. It's not really important for me and ppl who are can thinking,you already show all your skills.
AquitasJ,mate,stop to be sad,and plz continue your work on LDOGE,I know you have not so much coins since start to have any interests in pumping and dumping it. Many ppl not understand really what happened and why you are quit.Most of them not using IRC,but see the situation.You are the dev here. You are make a hardfork and fixed a problem with fork chain. And you are continue show a results of your work to community. Look in old thread,no one negative post from community side about your idea about masternodes,when you announce your plan.Think about that.
Best Regards,
Mellon
