It is beyond my understanding that someone would attack a person trying to help. Especially someone with Presstabs reputation.

@presstab. What would you advise?
Is there a quick fix, or should we post pone it and re-test it? Better save then sorry right.

So what's the deal, To fork or not to fork?

We are responsible for the website & social media, so it depends on the wallet developers. Do they still feel we should Fork, as in is that a safe thing to do.

Personally i feel bad why someone from our community is attacking a person who is trying to help, especially him being the IRC 'leader'.

Well aquitas entered the scene 2 post later. It's not needed and unprofessional. An apology should be good.

Presstab was installing the new wallet on his server for the block explorer. Then mentioned an error and bam attack.

But anyway, let's wait.

That and Tab is deliberately stirring up shit and pasting stuff here out of context.  He's admitted he's here for the drama and has no stake.
That said, this whole day reminds me why I left this forum in the first place.
If the fork fails, shit happens.  They'll fix it if there is a problem.  It wouldn't be the first time.  Anyone that's been around longer than 10 min has seen it before.

Are we all aboard for the new wallets or do the devs need more time for testing?

@Heathcoin you really need to chill out.

@Presstab I'm listening, please do not take note of hostile comments, if you can find the time please PM me with what you expect to happen @ fork and what can be done to solve the issue

@old dev, please fuck off Smiley

@everyone else, until we reach the fork time we simply don't know what will happen, MinerFTW says it will work, and until that is proved in correct then that is what I will believe will happen

But in thread fighting is just plain silly !

Hi! I'm looking for mid-long term investment. I'm thinking about LDOGE. If new wallet release will be without any problems I will invest few BTC in this project.

A reminder for everyone:

A hard fork will occur on June 29th, exactly at 13:00:00 UTC

Make sure to download the new wallets from the 1st page

Do NOT use the new wallets before the hard fork occurs!

Turn off all staking BEFORE the fork and wait!

Remember to BACKUP your wallet.dat file before running the new wallet!

It is a coin with great potential. In 2.5 hours we will be able to know if everything went ok or if anything needs fixing.

On June 29th, at 13:00:00 UTC  will be around the block 140,000. What parameters will change exactly when this time has elapsed? Is hard fork is associated in some way with the block number or just in time?

Moment of truth.  My plan is to stake up to the last minute, close the client, back up my entire roaming folder, cross my fingers, and fire up the new wallet.  Let's see how it goes.........
