People that say they are gambling for fun are lying, anyone who gambles does so to try to make money, thats a fact. Some people know how to stop and know not to spend all their money on it but other people dont and end up broke or with really bad problems. People these days can do anything for money which is sad.

I guess you have lost so much in gambling, so you never feel fun about that. The key why people feel fun is, how you can drive your desire. If you get winning, so you should know when you will stop, and if you lost, don't do revenge to get your money back. If you don't like lose, so don't gamble.

I am doing gambling in my extra time for having fun with my online activities and it does not effect on my personal life and luckily i won nice money from this through some dice site, slots and betting on sportsbook, till now everything about gambling is nice and wonderful in all ways.

Thanks to that, i never worked a day of "normal" job ever, i did not have to.

Thats how i started out and it works well for a few years but eventually i found the lifestyle was very unhealthy.  You have to constantly stay ahead of the game and you only get older and new talent fills up the games all the time.   If there was another poker boom i would play for the free money ofcourse but i'd never go back to poker otherwise.  Overall its ok, but you should quickly be planning other options on the side to diversify.

yes that's totally true
poker is being more complicated with every new generation that learns the game
but when someone wants to take it seriously , he will not find that very hard , but he has to keep up to date 
and I think this is an easy situation for someone who is focusing on the game and considering it as a money resource
but I totally agree that everything in the life needs to be improved even if you master it

I think you could play a video game if you just to wasting your time, since you said it made your life be restless and worried. With video game, you can get pleasure and if you lose, you won't lost anything except your time.

I guess people that don't agree about gambling is just for fun, have lost so much in there. Why you need big winning in casino? Are you working as a gambler? It just depend on our luck, and don't force it. If you couldn't drive your desire and greed when gambling, it's better for you to leave it.

Cant really see how staying "in shape" when it comes in competition is unhealty. It would actually be pretty boring if you could just learn a couple of things and stay profitable forever.

Said that, i think in general people overestimate how "harder" poker becomes, just because only a small fraction of people interested in improving their game, no matter what year it is.

I had not read any story about gambling fix someone's life because people who are dying in economy will probably stay away from gambling also that this depends on what you are risking because if you only risk a small amount for fun then I guess it would not wreck or fix your life.  Some people won alot from gambling while the other lose alot or alot more people lose actually

I prefer strategic gambling with amount that I can afford to lose. No gmabler become suddently rich by gmabling, let alone being billionaire.

Maybe not a billionaire, but just by being extremely lucky some tiny % of gamblers can become rich (without being good at the game)

If you take poker, for a example, there are known examples of horrible players who were just lucky enough to win either 1 big tournament or some sort of a jackpot. But chances of that are like winning a lottery so its pretty much irrelevant.

Indeed there are skill gambling games but people think its really easy to become one, of course you can win money on poker but only a few can mantain a constant profit, you can make money on sports bets but then again only a few can mantain constant profit.

Remember wherever there is a winner theres also a loser.

I have lost so much on gambling that if I roll something like under 99 , the number comes more than 99 just too many time :/ Overall has made me into a degen.

that sounds like an addiction honestly; if you read my short paragraph above, if gambling is the only thing that makes you feel happy or alive, there might be a real addiction here; a dependency on gambling to feel pleasure.

It sounds like he is talking about sniffing cocaine honestly, haha. You may feel alive when you win but im sure you feel like shit when you lose your money, the problem is that if you keep coming back and you cant stop that means you are addicted just like cocaine addicts or any other drug. This one may seem less bad but in some cases could be worse than cocaine addiction.

it's not just any other drug, you can be addicted to quite literally anything. food (obesity), work (workaholics), etc. any addict knows that continuing their habit is bad, weather it's financially, physically, or mentally, but they keep choosing to continue because they always see the "fix" as worth more than the cost. now with gambling, if people equate hundreds of dollars as "worth" for a few minutes of that adrenaline rush, a gambling addiction could easily be worse than any drug addiction.

it is an addiction , but I am happy that its only with bitcoin and not in my real life. I try never to buy bitcoin when I don't need it as there is only one place it will land in. In real life I have only gambled 1 or 2 times with money . Most of gambling addiction online is due to being allowed to bet small amounts as that amounts to big amount if you play a lot or increase your bets in strategy.

Gambling for me is only for fun. Put a little money in it, to test it and play. If I lose, I don't give a sh**. If I win, I'm happy, but have in mind that's pure luck. In the end house always win. always.

can't see how it could fix somebody life , it may do that at the beggining and as some people are saying now "It's fun to take risk" also things like "It's my passion and i love it" , that passion who used to fix your life will sooner or later turns into addiction and that addiction will finally wreck and finish your life a part .
