Many years ago when bitcoins weren't as valuable as today, I played on satoshidice. I lost bitcoin that would've been worth $20,000 today.

I didn't care back then because it wasn't much but of course it pains me today. Tongue

wow, what a pity, I lost money cause of a scam altcoin, around 60BTC, it was worth 30000 USD, damn what a pain too.  Angry

But I am happy with my 2000 USD monthly salary, what a shame. Cry  I was not satisfied with 30000 USD last year, but now satisfied with 2000 USD monthly salary.

Wow! That's a huge loss to swallow. Which coin was this if you don't mind my asking? Well.. 2K USD a month is quite good considering some people make way less than that and a considerable amount of people who just get by the days without a proper meal. You would be considered a rich man in my country for sure! Its all a matter of perspective!  Cheesy

It is vootcoin scam, I involved bitcoin on March of 2013, and I bought some 60 USD bitcoin on April when big crash happened, I invested about 5k USD on btc, last year altcoin bubble was crazy, my investment on cinnicoin even made my 15btc to 150btc, but after I had some few bad tradings(invested some scam coins), I was broke.

2K USD monthly salary is high cause I am a Chinese, not an American, I should cash out 30K usd last year and enjoyed my life, but I was too greedy, wanted to earn 300K USD, lol.

This case of your life it is the best example to not gambling more. If you would have those satoshi today imagine what can you made with those. Imagine your life with those and imagine your future with those. Compare all those with the momentum pleasure have in the time you play those in satoshidice. And ask again your self: It was worth?

Well you can't blame yourself. Just like today, I played those Yobit free alt coins that has so much low value in their dice game without thinking one of them 'can' be a promising coin in the future. Today they are dust but who knows in the future. Smiley

You have nothing to worry about them being anything special in future my friend. 95% of them was created to make the dev a few quid and dump on anyone willing to buy them, the losses you made now will be less in future. You might get a one off pump on them but nothing major.

OP I am up from gambling over all, only because of poker if it wasn't for that then I would be down a few k  Shocked but without the poker winnings I would have never played the stakes I did so it is hard to say. Either way my life has never been wrecked or fixed because of gambling and it never will.

Gambling can never Fix your Life but it can do Wreck your life if you are careless.
Actually the Gambling was originated by amateur People to pass their time and some people took it to wrong ways and started pursing it for evil things.

I still believe oneshould gamble , but not for a living but for recreation , it is certain that you cant feed your living by doing gambling you will always need a real JOB.

The rules to gambling are simple but I guess people with an addictive personality may not be able to limit or manage their gambling.

1.) Only gamble with amounts you can afford to lose
2.) Know when to walk away, this applies to when you're winning & losing

The above are the main rules to follow to maintain responsible gambling.

May I direct anybody who has developed a problem to a website that they may need but want to remain anonymous - http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/

And I wish that the loosing part you say comes true.
And I would be present there with him to see the effects of it. Lol
BTW if we follow some kind of strategy and bet in control then we can win, but due to emotions after winning many times we think that go big and make big and ends up being left with nothing.

If somebody can control your embisians, it can be really useful for playing gamble. Sometimes I need that control but nobody can control my embisians. Not yet.

For me, gambling is more likely to wreck and kill my life because i always ended up losing, gain some small amount then lose bigger amount. So, gambling is not an option for me. Cheesy

When you try a small amount you keep on winning or losing? I guess everyone start small at first but in the end they keep on losing and start to deposit and still make a huge loss. And that is not fun anymore

well depending on how you play or gamble,, some only for fun and some for serious

both can be the same,,but for fixing your life, using gamble is a bad choice..because the outcome not fix,,sometimes loss and sometimes win
