To be honest i do not think that it is really a good idea to try and teach kids about Bitcoin because they need to focus on other things.
Let them focus and school and sports and stuff.

Exactly kids should not be asked to earn bitcoin at this stage and its better to ask them to concentrate on their studies as there is entire life ahead to earn bitcoins.
Yes, I think the better question is how to prevent kids from using bitcoin? If you look at different applications of bitcoin, even virtual buying with different tools must be restricted for them.

Well somehow it is good to consider that kids are very naughty at all and they can use bitcoin for different transaction that they want to try.
But I think they must focus first in their studies and they must know about bitcoin yet, but if they are very knowledgeable tell them that bitcoin is simply as 'online money'.

As you said that kids are naughty so if we introduce them to bitcoins at this age then there is a chance that they may get diverted towards gambling, and if it happens then it can ruin their lives.

That would be the worst thing because of the curiosity they will try gambling and since kids can be easily deceive, there is a big possibility that they will be addicted and the real problem will start.

Please exit immediately from gambling if you are under 18.

But I still felt that under 18-year-olds should know about gambling, about the odds of not winning and something about the psychology of gambling.

Some of kids, I am talking about teenagers now around 15 years old, some of them start to underworking in such young years. And classically it is some physical work as postman or alike. Sometimes that work disturbs to their study. But some teenager could underworking with bitcoins. I don't say to gamble. Commenting here is a good chance or posting commercial of some BTC sites on his or her Facebook page. Many teenagers are better with computers than people over than 30 40 years. So I'm telling that is gonna be good chance to earn for kids without spending too much time.

The problem is how would they comment if they do not really understand very well the nature of bitcoins and not only that, it is not only with the bitcoin discussion that he needs to comment because some campaign requires you to comment in the gambling forum, so how would he relate if he will not experience it?

Let's face the facts. The majority of commenters here not only lack proper understanding of bitcoins (this is forgivable since it requires above average knowledge of economics and informational technologies), but more often than not they don't even have a clue about the very subject they are trying to comment on...

In many a thread even demons fear to tread

I know but that is not expected since we have different understanding as a human due to our level of comprehension, most cf the comments here are mostly base on the opinion of the members and what is important is that they need to be on topic and would contribute to the forum as a whole.

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
Kids are exposed a lot on computer games, real games/toys and on TV cartoons so the best way to teach kids about bitcoin is through these resources, by making a short film/cartoon, mention more often bitcoin there and including virtual bitcoin as coins in computer games.
That's a great idea that resources can help a lot to make things easier. Cartoon is very much related for kids and it will help them for easily understand bitcoin without getting bored.
Would it really be a good thing to teach kids about Bitcoin because I think that it is more important for them to focus on other things like school and sports.
They can always learn ab out Bitcoin again but some things come first.

Teaching kids about bitcoin is not easy because they will start asking many different things and probably at least once you will get stucked because it's hard to explain something like bitcoin for a short period of time, especially when we have to talk about encryption, hashes, transactions raw etc. But at least telling them about their game coins (or pokecoins recently) would be much easier.

But at that stage if we strictly avoid them from gambling and tell them about the bad features about gambling then they will not divert to gambling and will not go near gambling or casino even in their adulthood.

Asking more questions from us is more better as because of that more ideas will come to our mind and for that we will start to learn more about that questions and we will increase our knowledge more about bitcoin.

Somehow it can help us thinking deeply on those questions and make new ideas from these and this is how other ideas sometimes are invented. My idea to show the bitcoins as pokecoins is a good idea to explain them the power of bitcoin that you can use it as a digital currency and you can buy digital and physical things with bitcoin.

That is why we need to introduce it to them to become popular. Wink  It is not like you will be a monster while training your kids to handle things like bitcoin.  And it would not become a hindrance on his childhood if giving the child an hour of teaching him about bitcoin.  And I think it would be a good bonding moment to both of the parent and the child.  Plus the fact that you will help the child to be aware of money and how to earn it.

Kids these days are increasingly smart and have so much more access to things. Games are the way to go, solve puzzles make a few satoshi (very few) and in exchange to these satoshis you unlock more puzzles or get some kind of a virtual reward.
This would enable the thought process that you've got to earn if you want something for yourself, and also keeps them in close vicinity to crypto-currency and the crypto-world.

But teenagers are still so stupid.

Not in this era dude, teenagers now are very curious and they are mostly the one who can give us new idea, they are innovative and we can see them very interesting to develop any idea that would change the world for the comfort of the people, look at some developers of coins, some of them are teenagers so you cannot underestimate them.

Although it's not 100% recommended that you transform a kid into a Bitcoin making-machine, kids nowadays are smarter than half of the adults out there. I think if you guide them enough, they'll be able to understand the whole point, the how-to-do's of Bitcoin. First the kid that you're going to teach should know how to understand english, know how to use a computer, and know how to do basic math. And then teach him the very basic first, like how to make a wallet and then make it secure. Then explain to him what is the concept of Bitcoin. The kid doesn't have to depend solely on you because he can always google for answers if he has a question.

It really depends on the age and the nature of the kid because they are all different. But they do have one thing in common alot of the times.
At young ages they are all visual learners until they develop other learning styles so best way to teach them is via videos in easy language and alot of pictures!

Sorry. What is adding bitcoin to all currency?
I guess the kids are not enough mature to understand the future of bitcoin. Because I have tried to explain the concept of bitcoin financial system, even higher business people also not completely getting what bitcoin is as they are not showing true interest towards bitcoin.
