http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
Cryptocurrency is our future! The government should let all of the schools and universities to teach bitcoin to their students. All of the people in our society should now become aware to what is cryptocurrencies.

I believe that it is also important to teach our kids about bitcoin but it still depends on their age and capability to cope up and understand things about bitcoin. Kids should enjoy their lives as kids which is quite far from the stress of life as an adult. It is better to teach them about bitcoin where in they will be able to do their duties here in crypto but we should teach them how to focus more on their studies.

Teach them first how to save. That's the basics. Then teach them what investing is, why and how you should do it. By then you can introduce them about bitcoin.
Well, saving is what my mom taught me when I was a kid. However, when I grow up, I realize that investing our money in many places are a chance for us to earn more money. By investing our money, we can multiply our balance.
And moreover, I do not think that saving is somehow related to bitcoin

I think you should just tell them that it is a money in the internet.
Because anytime that a person would ask me about it I would just tell them that it is a money in the internet ,
I don't want to talk to them about it or explain it any further because most of the time the only answer that you would get is they still don't know it .
But once you put it that way and I think it is the simplest way to tell them what it is.

well kids like to play, so something that can bring together bitcoin and gaming

like puzzle that when solved reveal a private key for example

it is important that kids start to learn early some basic economy, at least something about income and expenditure

i heard about a new law for some countries that will make it possible(to teach them basic economy) in schools

In addition to investing, you can teach your child the concept of a financial budget and the importance of a financial breakdown. Start by distinguishing which is the need and which is the desire. Start with an example that exists in their environment.

Last year I introduce bitcoin to my son and at first he was hesitant to check it out. But when he earned a little that's the time he get very excited to earn more. We just have to guide them on the earnings they receive that would not affect them negatively. But definitely, bitcoin is something that our kids need to know about.

Concerning kids dont have any mental hindrance to computerized cash bitcoins. But our old matured individuals still imagine that the cash they grasp is genuine and they get confounded about advanced transactions. We could demonstrate to them some energized recordings about bitcoins with the goal that they would effortlessly get it.

Just like you teach paper money or coins to your child. The difference is you have to teach internet first before you teach bitcoin.

kids do not have any hindrances because they are just kids anyway. they do not know the side effects of using a bitcoin because they didnt care at all.

kids do only care about playing and eating sweets or junk foods , so i guess teaching them about bitcoin is not a good idea.

bitcoin is too hard for them to understand and i think we should only wait when they hit the right age so that they can fully understand the concept of bitcoin.

i will only teach my son about bitcoinn when he reaches the age of 18 because that is the legal age on our country.

Yes true, by first introducing how to save then they will be easy to recognize bitcoin, without understanding save and investment then they will be hard to know bitcoin, if they are hard to know bitcoin then waiting for the right time is better and do not ever force them to immediately recognize bitcoin.

Kids having knowledge on how to save using bitcoin is good but that's all, they're too young to expose in crypto world instead let them grow to their right age before introducing bitcoin to their lives. There's a right time for all things because right now all they want to do is play and make the most of their age, just wait for them to get more mature so that they will understand what really is bitcoin. I hope bitcoin will last for more decades so that many kids today can still reach bitcoin in its prime.

I agree to you. We should let them enjoy their childhood first and just wait for the time when they will become old enough to be taught by us about bitcoin. Teaching kids on their young age is not effective and it is better if we will teach them the necessary things rather than directing them into bitcoin, that will not work like what we want for sure.

Yes, bitcoin is all about money, investments and profit so i agree that kids must not be fully expose for this field since we know that crypto world brings stress and uncertain situation, therefore it is not advisable for kids. But we can slowly teach them about the value of money for life until they will discover and pursue by themselves if they are in the right age.

Actualy we can realy teach the young children about bitcoin, but I dont think they well appreciate if we will teach them,In there very young age they more likely interested in playing and exploiring the world. So we might teach  them bitcoin but I am.not sure if they will be interested and join bitcoin. Some kids will find bitcoin boring, but hopefully some well find it interesting too.But lets just try to teach them so they could earn and prepare for there future.

I believe that it is still best to teach kids about bitcoin at the early age for them to gain knowlege and earn as early as possible. It is important that kids would be able to learn how to earn and to know the value of money. However, we should still help and let them know what to do first and that is to focus on their studies.

Teaching children does not really need to be too difficult or to focus on the real picture. we must know the age and limitations of children's thinking. customize them. using toy media for them to understand

Teach the kids about bitcoin is also a good idea to make them more responsible in their life and to make them ready to the world of bitcoin even I have more time in this forum I know to myself that my knowledge about bitcoin is not enough that's why if you teach bitcoin to the kids it is more better to them that they can explore more about it.
