Confirmation time, and the increase of the fee costs.
To confirm the problem is indeed now a pretty serious problem. Because that could be the thing that can make us into loss due to delay confirmation. This could happen because of the stability of the bitcoin is being compromised because the halving, so inevitably this problem will be quickly completed. To increased costs, I think there is no increase in cost for each transaction in the bitcoin I pretty much don't mind the transaction confirmation times as long as it is confirmed under an hour. As for all my transactions, I've only had one tx confirmation that went over an hour (two hours, actually) but all in all, it doesn't seem to pose any problem for me just yet. However, some, if not most, businesses/merchants/shops are directly affected of this issue. |

Feel free to talk about any problem, even if it seems unsolvable or too abstract (e.g. Bitcoin is not safe enough for the average user)
Edit:
After reading all the replies, I feel confident summarizing that the #1 problem of Bitcoin is probably lack of adoption.
And the main reasons of lack of adoption are probably ease of use and insufficient security.
We are a team of entrepreneurs and software developers that are going to spend the next following months-year on developing a new product.
One of the most appealing markets for us is the Bitcoin market.
We will try to learn us much as possible from your replies and try to tackle the problems head on.
My biggest problem is i cannot reach the 1 btc.  it's sad to say. All my bitcoin is gone. because of the gambling. That's my problem right now. I'm addicted with gambling. How can i do now.? Anyone please help me with how to get or how to reach the 1btc.? Because i really need that right now because my family is so tired to looking a money. that's my biggest problem. Help me. I dont have big problem with bicoin,
but for know just too late confirmed transaction, I think it's not big problem
I think that is normal because i always encounter that late/delay in confirmation i think its because of our bitcoin have more securities need to confirm all of our transaction they want to secure all our bitcoin. Yes and still we can spend bitcoins even when they are not confirmed ( if the transaction has too less fees then you cannot ) . Hence for me confirmation time is never a issue. |

My problems with bitcoin:
Long confirmation times.
Too big blockchain data.
No smart contracts.
Long confirmation times : Please send proper and sufficient fees and dont just make a habit of complaining. People do struck with same amount of fee (that was used a week back ). You need to set fee based present bitcoin value. Too big blockchain data : You never forced to use bitcoin-qt or core. Choose light weight wallets. No smart contracts : Derivatives are only for advanced users. Still lot of third party projects available for this. |

to be honest there are some problems connected with bitcoins, even though i would like to get more bitcoins too , i have some problems connected with it to be honest my biggest problem with bitcoin is that i dont like waiting for confirmations on my deposit when i put some money in a gambling website or something like that, i think thats the biggest problem |

For me, the main problem Bitcoin actually like any other deflationary currency is stagnating. Roughly speaking, the growing exchange rate encourages people to not spend money and accumulate them. In addition, the opportunity to profit from a simple moneymaking saves people from having to produce goods and services. The result is a hard crisis of the entire economy, because a society can not live in abundance, when nobody does anything.
this is a big issue with bitcoin and it is slowing down the process of adoption. because people are just holding their coins and are refusing to spend it and in order to become more popular and reaching the adoption stage you should spend bitcoin on services to spread it so the price can really rise and not just get pumped. Well, not really spending spreads bitcoins to new users. What spreads bitcoins to new users is people, if you do not spend any bitcoins no problem just make a agenda that daily you will educate 5 people about bitcoins. That would indirectly help yourself in my perspective. |

for me, there are almost no problem with bitcoin, as i love it so much, and everything is pretty okay, fee is very low usually, i get/send money very fast too only problem is sellers, to be correct, sellers that don't accept bitcoins as payment yet, so i can't pay with bitcoins everywhere yet, when i will be able, bitcoin will have no rpoblem for me |

Bitcoin is a perfect currency for me. Transactions are very fast. More reliable and easy to use. The only problem is that no more countries accept bitcoin. This is the main cause of problem likely in trading. |

That may not even be Bitcoin's fault as a lot people tend to send very small transactions with a relatively high byte size in combination with a very small fee. Pools simply ignore such transactions for quite a long time. |

So you think if you don't have enough bitcoin. it is the fault of bitcoin? this is not the problem of bitcoin. if you need to get more and more then prefer your self to get bitcoin. do work, do job and earn bitcoin. and if you have money then buy bitcoin. and your problem will get solved. and If you think that you come into bitcoin very late that's why you don't have any of it. then let me tell you that. It will never be late. you may missed some opportunities for getting bitcoin but this is not the end of bitcoin. even I believe this is just the starting of bitcoin. so don't worry about it and start your journey with bitcoin.. and one day you'll have lots of bitcoin for sure. at last I want to say I also have nothing(just have equal to some $$) but it is not problem for me. |

You want to make bitcoin more or less anonymous? Because a lot of effort in bitcoin community is to make it trully anonymous, and not merely pseudo-anonymous. |
