I think, bitcoin prices in 2016 will decrease due to the emergence of new coins that will exceed bitcoin
in 2016 we will hit 500$ i sure it

i hope we can hit something better than a mere 500, which was feasible this year at least in theory

if by the end of 2016 we are still at 500 something went utterly wrong, it seems that many cannot still consider how a joke the marketcap of bitcoin is, at the moment...

i hope more people interesting to use bitcoin, and we can use bitcoin to pay daily cost like restaurant caffe motel tax etc.
bitcoin price is actually not so important that the most important is that it can be used everyday

yes, the complete idea of not cashing out bitcoins and spending them while its worth increases fascinates me, I love the fact that you can buy things without telling people who you are, where you live, etc. I've never had problems with transactions too and I've rather benefited from bitcoin, little losses don't matter once you know bitcoin's potential and yours together Smiley

if you compare bitcoin with other payment like paypal , okpay, payeer
you can find high fee and can be tracked who you are Smiley

I don't really think bitcoin and paypal can be compared. They might perform similar actions but their features are varied. Bitcoin transaction fees could be as much as 10-20 satoshi as compared to paypal, which could be averaged to 0.29$. On paypal's website, they also go further and state that the standard rate for receiving payments for goods and services is 3.4% + $0.45 NZD. Bitcoin > Paypal
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I think many consumer killer applications will come out , the ecosystem will be getting more comprehensive and perfect, fundamental factors will come out to increase its intrinsic value to support its price.

I think that I lost a lot on the market this week....And, I predict I will lose more before things turn around.  Holding on to my coin, but very leery about the direction it is going.

in the long term for sure, but this year definitely not. i think after the halving we can probably see an attempt to climb to $400 and maybe even higher. but let's first try to settle above $300.

It cant be compared because despite the services aim for a same goal, one function trumps paypal.

And thats like paypal freezing your account or stealing your funds in other "rules of terms" in their own words. This goes for both innocent business and the wrongful ones.

I don't guess that it gonna hit even 500$ this year(2015) , maybe again it will touch 300+ with in 2 months and will keep oscillating between 300-350 $.
Even this September , it is highly doubtful that the price gonna hit 270$ .Anyways i would like to see a Dump a big one so that i can make some Profit.

Everybody seems to think that Bitcoin will just keep growing in value over time....I'm not so sure of that prediction.  Are new technologies being considered?  Yes, I loved my old Commodore 64....but it just can't do what my laptop does....right?

but heres the difference though, bitcoin is the only thing thats really unable to duplicate.

unless you find another satoshi nakamoto and recreate it for something else or a similay system. this technology itself is rare.

So my predictions are despite the xt scenario, by the end of sept or start from mid august we should see a solid $270-80 mark?

I say this only cause theres been more awesome news with bitcoin lately like the barclays situation, if thats legit.

same i predict it`ll take time, but eventually we`ll get there.

but overall though we need more people buying it 1st to get to that level.

If many businesses start accepting these coins then surely prices will go high if not it will fall back to where it started.

Unless bitcoin becomes easy to use for the unwashed masses and gains an advantage over cash, it's going to remain just a currency for druggies, porn users, gamblers, and computer nerds.  That's my prediction.
