Gambling is not a job unless you are consistently making money from it but the reality is it is very hard to make money in gambling but easy for use to lose our money. We only quit our job if we have another job that pays better than our current job, and we can do that here online.

I think BTC Trading is best as a short-term part-time job.

For sure. it's not the best idea to give up stable money for unpredictable money if your not a multi millionaire. First be sure to be able  to live then look at your secondary income, dont make this your primary.

As of my current status in Bitcoin world , no I won't quit in my real job. Bitcoin earnings is my part time and sometimes all of my earnings here are just saved because Im using my fiat to cover my real fees and needs.
I think bitcoin current status does not significantly affect your income? although bitcoin banned in my country? but if I want to work hard then I will earn a great income from bitcoin? and you know you can convert bitcoin to fiat very easily. so you do not need to worry dude

yeah I think if you want to work full time in bitcoin look for jobs provide steady income to you. do not try to take the risk out of real job just because you want to focus on trade bitcoin? because I'm sure your income will not always remain. so it would be very risky

Quitting job and going full time would be the last thing to do me. My country does not have bitcoin accepting merchants and hence fiat is all that I can use. Even if I earn bitcoin and try to exchange it for fiat, it is taxable and hence I will lose a lot during the conversion process. Also the price of bitcoin is very much fluctuating. Hence you cannot stabilize your income in any manner and keep track of inflow and outflow during your daily transactions.

You can earn a living with trading if you have good capital, and you can expect good income from it but its always good to keep it extra and continue with full time job.

Capital is not the main important thing, you should have the skills that would give your a consistent income in trading, it is hard for the beginners and even old traders if they cannot figure out the technique to make money.

Yes price volatility is major factor for not getting full time in bitcoins, as you never know what price bitcoin will show us tomorrow and that makes it really very risky.

it is not a major factor, but the main factor is if you go full-time in bitcoin and could not get great results and stable, it certainly could be a big problem. the price volatility as long as you can get a lot of results I think it does not matter.

Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?
To answer the original question of the OP:
Nowadays making a living out of Bitcoin it's much more harder then back in 2012-2014. For me it seems like at the era when comunism has fallen in East Europe and USSR.
During the communist era there were no Supermarkets, McDonalds, fast foods in these countries, almost every company was owned and runned by the government. After the regimes has fallen huge waves of privatizations have started. The lucky private persons who had a little capital had the chance to start a business which haven't been available during the communist era but only in western capitalist countries. Everybody felt the first breezes of the western capitalist world. People started to buy branded clothes, started to go to McDonalds etc. The people who opened the first private restaurants, clothes shops etc made huge amounts of money because they created something NEW. Thats why there are a lot of  oligarchs in Russian, Ukraine, etc.
Why have I wrote this novel?
Because the situation with BTC is the same as it was with the fall of comunism. The people who had a little courage and had a little bit of capital are at the top now.
Look at theymos the creator of Bitcointalk. The revenue of bitcointalk in 2014 was around $400k. SInce then ever more user came.
Look at Stunna the creator of Primedice.

Summa summarum. You must have courage and good timing. Then you can quit your job

Yeah if we can manage to earn from both of them then we should work on it as your earnings will be higher if you combine the efforts which will increase your wealth.

Perahps the company that you are using now will reopen in the future and you can go back or maybe you will be advertising your own service or business before too long, you never know.

Yeah sky is the limit in earning bitcoins it will depend on you how much you are capable of earning it, and its good to earn from  both of them as we never know how long bitcoin will survive.

I would quit my day job in a New York minute if I knew I could make money trading bitcoin. The problem is that it takes a lot of money to invest to earn enough to make a living. I have a long way to go.
