The first match of the 5-match ODI series between South Africa and Pakistan will begin tomorrow at Port Elizabeth. Interestingly, Dale Steyn (good for M. Hafeez ) and De Kock have been rested for the first two matches. Duanne Olivier and Rassie van der Dussen will probably be their replacements.

I hope this ODI series doesn't turn out to be like the Test series, with almost all matches being one-sided.

Pakistan can beat any team in white ball cricket in their day. Babar Azam batting on number 3 is good. Shoaib Malik at number 5 can anchor the inning in case of collapse and All-rounder Shadab khan batting at lower order can make useful runs too here and there.

Not very sure about Fakhar. he's good but i still have my doubts about him when facing quality bowling attack and M.Hafeez, sometimes he play like top international batsman and sometimes looks more like a club cricketer to me. 

Bowling unit is looking good with 2 all-rounders Hafiz -Shadab + Fast battery, but I want to see M. Amir do some good in ODI along with young Shaheen Afridi.

India is in good position right now. after 33 over Australia standing with 143/5.  Yuzvendra Chahal creating havoc in Australia camp. no one playing him comfortably so far. he already took 3 wickets. if India can bowled out Australia under 230 then its job well done for India.

Australia are 8 down and 3 overs left and have made 228. So they would be near 250 and it will be a competitive match to watch how India  approaches their innings. Chahal has taken 5 wickets so far and 1 more over left . India will be chasing again in this match like previous 2 matches .

Kohli mad the right decision bringing in Chahal as he took 6 wickets for 42. India should win this match and the series if the rain holds out and doesn't stop play.

Np problem bro. you were honest, unlike many hypocrites. Bloody hell. you were spot on this. Chahal did all the damage and restricted Aussie on exact 230 runs marks.  he's not making life easy for selectors but its good to have such kind of a headache when selecting playing xi.

If Zampa start the rain still India will be disappointed. Although it's an easy target for India, things can be changed if Zampa can strike. I don't think its going to happen though. It's more likely that India will win the match within 40 overs at maximum but who knows.

I agree. India are performing beautifully at the moment primarily thanks to Chahal and Kumar who destroyed the formidable batting lineup of Australia with ease.

The only way Australia can survive this is due to the rains as you mentioned. The formidable batting lineup of India will most likely see this match through to the finish unless Australia does something magical.

77 runs in 21 overs is such a slow start. They should have made these runs in the first 10 overs but still because the target is less, hope Virat and Dhoni manage to stay till the 40th over and get the runs. It's not so tough for them.

It's easier for India. Australia ended the innings with a lowered score. I didn't expect such target. I thought they will score a 300 and the match will be like a final match but Australian batsman failed to do it. India will not lose more wicket may be. Virat may get another century today.

The man who can play and score lot of needed runs to win in the big matches. Another good win for India and it really help to built the metal strength of Indian team while they are going to face the world cup this year.

The match was much interesting, even when the score was low to chase the early fall of wickets made a shattering. Dhoni coming into the pitch at the fourth position helped maintain the run rate continue without loss of wickets maintaining a good partnership which is a must by that situation. Finally the cup is on the hands of India, also as said in the above quote it truly helps India team keep themselves strong to face the upcoming world cup matches.

Not sure mate, Finch is in poor form of late and I actually think it has to do with playing test cricket. Since he was called up to play test cricket in the middle of last year his one day form has dropped off and his test match form isn't any better. I really think that he is just a ODI and T20 player and Australia should stick with it.

Congrats to India on winning the third ODI and the series, that now makes it a series win in all forms of the game as they won the T20 series, test match series and now the ODI series. Its been an amazing tour for India and Kohli and his men should be very happy with the way they have played on this tour. I can't remember the last time a touring team has done this in Australia, maybe it was the WI back in the 80's early 90's but I can't remember any team doing this recently.

Indian team finish Australian tour 2019 with great series win and I wish Indian team to continue the same upcoming series with New Zealand, and congratulation to Dhoni get the man of the series award in ODI series and all Indian team members did great show there. But it will be bad series loss for Australia team for ever and I hope that the AUS team will be come back with their full team very soon.

As a Dhoni fan I slept nicely yesterday When he missed a couple of chances behind the stumps and that got me worrying . He had a great day today and also thanks to Maxwell for dropping him on the first ball . 87 runs off 114 and he lead the team to win Dhoni is still Dhoni .

Agree with you. Finch was playing good cricket in one day international and in t20 format. I was a fan of Aaron Finch but recently he is not playing such good like as he played before. One can be the reason you mentioned but I barely believe that. In fact, test cricket is more necessary for being strengthen. I hope he will get back his form and will be able to continue assist team Australia to win.

Same here too mate. I am also a fan of Dhoni, because of people's criticism, it was really bad situation in social media. At the end, he is the man of the series with a 3 half centuries at a row. Yesterday, it would become a century though if there was enough run to chase. Congrats MSD.
