In longer form of cricket the people who were batting first have better chance of winning,but I don't know why west indies elected to bowl first,and they face the consequences already with too much of runs to reach in their 2nd innings.

It depends on the pitch condition. The pitch did not look like a bowling pitch to me especially after seeing WI's betting. They just could not score decent run in their first innings. The middle order collapsed massively. 1, 6, 0, 8 looks like a pin code to me.

Even if the pitch is better for batting it could have more turn on the fourth and fifth day it will make more difficult to bat on so whatever the pitch I will say first will be better.WI have lot of fire powers in batting but as a team they are failing to make it happening only they are playing together.

Agreed. England is far ahead now and there is no record as far as I know that at 4th inning, a team won with such a big chasing. Draw is also not possible for WI at the moment because still 2 days left.

If this was India instead of WI then I could hold my breath and hope that they will play a great innings. The betting dept and experience of Indian team gives me the courage to talk about them so bold. However still it's a lot of run to chase in the 4th innings.

The WI team back then and the WI team now is totally different. This is not the best WI team which we used to see in the past not even the shadow of their past.

The reason for such discrepancy is that their is a issue with the money that board is offering and due to which best of the WI player is not playing from their board. They only play T20 cricket with full strength and in test match and One day you will not see the best of the WI players in those matches. Hope they can resolve it quickly.

I guess this unhappiness in between the players and the board is going from last few years. I am not well informed however this kind of conflicts will eventually is not gonna bring anything good for WI team. We are already seeing the outcome. There was a time when everyone used to take WI very seriously and now sometimes teams like Zimbabwe gives them hard time.

Today onwards the new Zealand vs Bangladesh ODI series Wil be going to start and we have 1st ODI match between New Zealand vs Bangladesh can any one give some suggestions about which team will going to win the match and I know that the new Zealand have great batting lineup and good blowing attack but the same Bangalore team also have let's see what will going to happen the 1st odi.

Well England bounced back well in this final test match to win it easily by 232 runs. The positives that can be taken out of this series is that WI have some good talented young players and that they can be competitive in matches. The question is can they continue on with this form playing away from home? I think the future looks very good for the WI.

I don't really feel that the future looks good for them because the problem always in WI has been the board . Players who become popular expect high renumeration but the board doesn't care and the players will lose interest  in playing for the country.

Bangladesh is badly missing Sakib Al Hasan. Top order batsman failed to score a good one. They scored 212/7 from 44.1 overs. Bangladesh were playing good for last couple of months but today, it is unexpected.

I wish Little Mouse would accepted my bet. WI lost as I expected. England won by 232 runs and this should give England a small boost that they can win hehe. This test was hard for WI especially after having a bad first innings.

Bangladesh is badly missing Sakib Al Hasan.

Shakib is a key player no doubt but Bangladesh team has some other brilliant players like Tamim, their keeper, Mahmudullah, the fiz, Mashrafe. I was not watching the live match but looking at the scorecard it's clear that Tamim did not well today. He is in good form which I noticed in BPL.

Hopefully in the next match we will see a very close match.

Nz are high on confidence after after winning from India and thus it was reflective in today’s match as well and thus brilliant performance by the whole team and turned the match into their side very easily and won by match by 8 wickets and more than 7 overs were left .

NZ always plays good cricket in their ground so do everyone else. Don't forget that in the past Bangladesh whitewashed NZ in their ground too. I think from the next matches Bangladesh will be able to bring some fight even they may win the matches. The recent performance of Bangladesh team is also good.

Their is lot of problems going on in the West Indies Cricket Board due to that lot of experience players are not playing for their country and playing the T20 county matches where they get good money for it.

Anyone see the great bowling performance by Sri Lanka bowling South Africa out for just 235 runs in less then 60 overs on day 1 of the first test match. Sri Lanka are now batting and are 49/1 so if they can get a partnership together they could actually have a big chance at winning this test match, they currently trail by 186 runs which isn't a lot if they can get a couple of good partnerships and could even take a nice lead in the match.

Their is lot of problems going on in the West Indies Cricket Board due to that lot of experience players are not playing for their country and playing the T20 county matches where they get good money for it.

Bigger problem is that board are not even caring to resolve this issue which is existing from last couple of year and have left talent players out from the test and ODI side. Also they are not even worrying how badly the team is playing this days due to lack of quality players. They need to work on something in order to get the best payers back.

Who is watching South Africa vs Sri Lanka? Day 2 session 1: Sri Lanka is trailing by 128 runs with 5 wickets remaining in the first innings. Seems like South Africa did not well in their first innings. Can Sri Lanka take the advantage of it? Although they have lost 5 quick wickets.
