For me, in any cryptocurrency the bitcoin is the mother, bitcoin is the popular to all users in cryptocurrencies. And because the bitcoin is still alive and its too far to disappear, I will consider it as a future of cryptocurrency not etherium. I saw in the ranking of cryptocurrencies, the etherium is only number two so if the bitcoin will end then the etherium will next to it.

Currently because of the fat that transactions are slower in bitcoins, there is a sudden increase in the price of ether but maybe the hike is temporary.

Every time i want jump Eth ship i see that bloated blockchain in year...
All hype those DAPs but holly shit when you stop and see HF in ethrum when some people ere making spam attacks.
So I run buisnes on ETH i calculate gas price and load acc with ETH. Now my business is starting working and...
and there is to many transactions types that i am doing and DEV is going to change rules once again to unspam network.
Now my whole business model and ETH contract is ruined by it because on some stuff they have raised fee.
Now my ETH acc is empty in 2hours instead of 2 years...
Eth for me today is like BTC-U increase blockchain to meet demand but this is BS this have its limits you cannot run
DECENTRALIZED system and carry BIG data on one chain and process all through one chain.
In other side side chains may be easlty attacked if you have just few side chains node you can DDOS alternative nodes and blow up side chain/bug it/stoping from working. Stopping from working is mailing it out of business.

Today Eth have big hype and expectations but reality will come next with real data.
BTC have real data behind 1MB/10min ~ 100GB data... Etherum needs no limit on bock-size or it will choke like BTC did.
If you want full data from ETH you will need 100GB today what will come in next years.
ETH blockchain is designed to bloat rise without limits once those limits will be close i relive insiders will start dumping ETH.
That is why i don want join ETH circle-jerk. All ETH shills are avoiding scaling problems.
To me ETH just want to make some utopia.

The bitcoin has established position. But if it does not evolve, it will be replaced by other coins. That is happening now.

Yes, bitcoin is losing its popularity as people tend to look more closely at alts and invest in them. And the problem is that bitcoin doesn't seem to be a flexible coin which can really evovle in a serious way. And yet I don't believe bitcoin will once be abandoned. I only think that eth will be nearly as good as bitcoin and we can see from the price growth (although some say the price is that high, because someone keeps it high) that ethereum is becoming second best already.

Ethereum needs to be much stricter regarding code quality and governance model. It needs to be reviewed and tested if he wants to be taken seriously.
The hard-fork that occurred can be seen as a smudge in the history of crypto-coins. The immutability of the network needs to be maintained so that we do not rely on decisions from human beings that have financial interests involved. Because if it is to be so, it is better to continue in the traditional financial system.
Ethereum has proven to be stuck in the vices of the past rather than taking the risk of building the future of network governance.

To be honest guys, I didn't invest much in ETH, but last days give me good earnings. I'm not saying that staying with ETH in wallets is bad decision, but i'm sure that situation around BTC and possibilities of BU dont make investmets stable to keep money in crypto .. just saying..

Edit: Just in other words - i prefer to be out at this not stable moment

Future is IOTA.
-The bigger the network the faster it is, it will never run into scaling issues.
-No transaction fees. Currently micropayments on Bitcoin are not even feasible due to the cost and the same will be true for Ethereum as price goes up.

Of course you are absolutely right dash is just a temporary coin to earn profit in short time for the whales while eth actually has a good price and has features and contracts which can be adopted for usage in daily life.

The bitcoin is in some trouble at the moment. It is slow to send coins. People are using other faster coins.

This here is the best advise. As much as you may love the coin you are promoting no one has a crystal ball, spread it around and diversify your investment.

OP you have no idea just how many people before you have claimed similar things, and praised xyz of other sh*tcoins.
This is just another rinse and repeat process that benefits only to devs and pump-n'-dumpers of the said coins, with little or no value or impact on the bitcoin.
Save us the time and don't open up alt promoting threads like this one, it won't do anything good to you, it will just get laughed out, just like this thread just not.

A replacement that can handle larger transaction load and has better scalability with less power usage will take the throne at some point. It's the reason I like XEM so much, though yes I have a bunch of it.. if I thought there was a better altcoin to buy with my XEM I'd have bought it by now. That's why I own a bit of Ark, and that's about it.

The bitcoin miners argue back and forth about adopting segwit because they want to keep their cash cow block revenue, meanwhile the number of unconfirmed transactions continues to rise, as do the fees. Something has to give, if bitcoin won't evolve, someone will take their spot. There's nothing unique about bitcoin except it was first. The big mining conglomerates can continue to come here an extol the virtues of bitcoin, it doesn't change reality.

If ETH was trading closer to XEM I'd be inclined to move some money over, but at 1/8 the market cap the choice is obvious.  ETH and XEM complement each other. ETH is more a service, while XEM makes a GREAT currency/trading medium.

Ethereum has big advertising  Let's see what happens with this new coin / platform. From what I've read it's not even near to a competition to Bitcoin.

Still bitcoin will be the future of the cryptocurrency just in my opinio ethereum is doing well and have a really great potential in success but etherum price is still no match in bitcoin you cannot expect for the bitcoin price to just go down like nothing happen.
