It will never happen man... Can you imagine how your granny using bitcoin ?  I think that you can't because when you want to change something you should care about everyone. Yes, it is not easy to make even force everyone to use bitcoin, of course there will be disagreement if they do not like bitcoin, let alone until now bitcoin not yet widely known. |

No, I don't even think, that it will happen in next 50 years, government won't let it happen, because bitcoin will kill something, what they were building last years. Even, if don't think about government, bitcoin is not perfect model what can replace dollar and needed years to integrate bitcoin. So, I more than sure , that government will create something own, maybe same to bitcoin, but with with control levers.
I agree with you. It will never happen. Dollar and Euro, some other fiat money can be not replaced with virtual cryptocurrency. |

I do not think it will happen, because bitcoin is virtual money and bitcoin is also illegal, so it will not replace the dollar. maybe up to 500 years also will not happen.
Did you say 500 years? How can you claim that bitcoin is illegal? As far as I know bitcoin is legal and different super markets in different countries have started accepting it in the real value against the items to be sold. Yes I admit that no country has done the legislation on this but that does not mean it is illegal. Its just a matter of time that super powers will start legislation on this to control ins and outs. |

I do not want to insure anything for now, but so far it has become an asset with the ease of competing against the dollar in the world order. Although if we take into account the advantages and disadvantages, bitcoin still needs a lot to be an official currency like the dollar, mainly the approval of the big governments.

We cannot predict what will happen in bitcoin after a few years. We see that bitcoin value is so volatile, we see how the graph of bitcoin value go to its peak, and go down so fast. We cannot predict if bitcoin can replace dollar soon.
Exactly. At current price movements, it's nearly impossible to determine whenever Bitcoin could replace the dollar or not. The high volatility it has, kills its purpose for being used as an everyday currency. Not to mention, its high fees and slow transactions makes its dream of becoming a mainstream currency far from becoming a reality. In this sense, Bitcoin may never replace the dollar as it has the issues mentioned previously, and most of all, it is a decentralized currency which threatens current banks' financial system. Nevertheless, if Bitcoin becomes improved over time making it capable of handling large transaction load, then there could exist a possibility of replacing the dollar soon. A currency such as Bitcoin will allow nearly anyone in the world to use it within any region without restrictions. Only time will tell if this happens in the future or not. Just my thoughts |

My answer is no. This is impossible to obtain sovereign protection of the heterogeneous, which itself has a fatal flaw, such as payment efficiency problems and even become a Ponzi scheme, the competition between the miners and monopolies also threaten the market order of Bitcoin.

Not a chance, for me bitcoin is not going to replace dollar because bitcoin price is not stabled the volatility is too high and besides not all the people know the existence of bitcoin so it is impossible to replace dollar. Ideally bitcoin is another type of currency and another way of mode of payment.

To replace the dollar is difficult because it has been a stable currency and has been adopted by many nations as the international currency. In my state, 1 dola is quite expensive to change it. A specific amount of Bitcoin must rise to surpass the dollar |

Bitcoin technology places a limit on the amount of transactions that can be handled, which means it can not replace the dollar. Maybe some other digital coin in the near future can.

bitcoin cant replace dollar or the other reguler money. bitcoin or other crypto just can replace the other coin. if it happen, so we have unstable value. so, no need to cash because bitcoin replace it. its difficult to determine of the other coin price.
not all people know about bitcoin, and all people know about gold. why not choose gold to replace dollar?

I have no idea about bitcoin that can really replace the dollar or euro .should be noted that the price I very volatile .it for me this one goes to mainstream someday and if you can see from another angle in bitcoin will be rwplces everyone online business still initially accepts the bitcoin for a single transaction everyone needs yo be able to convert it to the dollar .it important and always pray that selling may always rise in the market it is also good for exchange the dollar and yet the government is now constantly running to control things .so we need to replace a dollar on bitcoin we need to hold over based on a volatile things.

Bitcoin will not take over the role of dollar internationally. Dollar will still remain a currency which is globally accepted one. Bitcoin will also remain in the crypto world. Bitcoin will function as the crypto currency. They have separate and different functions in the world. One is in the physical world while the other is in the digitak world. |

I don't think it will be true. The first point is, in 15 years, the world can't replace all the things that needs traditional money by "Bitcoin accepted here", the way to do it is really far and impossible to be done in just 15 years. The second point is, if the governments want to replace traditional money by a kind of "digital money", it won't be bitcoin because they cannot control bitcoin so that they don't want to use bitcoin as their main currency for sure. |

Before saying that, you should consider the supply of bitcoin first because if we will not have the right amount of supply of bitcoin for all of the people then the volatility will occur more often and that is a huge problem for the overall world's economy because people will get confused and mad if they will buy something that is expensive and after a few hours, the price drop. |

No. Definitely no, lets separate bitcoin from dollars or any other currencies, cause bitcoin is also a currency, but an online currency, i think we all should enjoy what bitcoins offers to us right now, we shouldnt be expecting too much for bitcoin, i mean, its there, its ok, everything is going ok. Lets just bitcoin what bitcoin is. Try not to compare it to other currency.
