I don't think so. Us dollar is an international and very established money. To many countries (to not tell almost all) have their reserves in their Central Banks mostly in us dollar. Has almost the status of gold. Bitcoin has the qualities of being reserve money (is uninflationable) but I think that it is insufficient to fulfill the requests of all the countries.

So it is very difficult to replace the dollar in the near future, when the system is well established ie dollars, while bitcoin is still a lot of things to be studied and studied for example is the number of unfinished transaction confirmations.

For me its not, but bitcoin can level the value of dollar today and even in coming year. But hopefully it became official currency in entire world, and no government will against to used bitcoin, because we know bitcoin is most promising currency in whole time.

The dollar can not be replaced or even competed with by any cryptocurrency. Behind the dollar is the entire American economy, but the crypto currency is not backed by anything.

Despite the rising popularity of bitcoin among the community. but I think it's not easy to be able to replace currencies like dollars and more.
especially there are pros and cons, plus the outstanding issues about bitcoin badness. of course it will make the people public reject to use it expansive, let alone to replace the paper money.
because, the level of public confidence in Bitcoin becomes an important element in assessing the possibility of bitcoin replacing print money like dollars etc.

Bitcoin is rising in power and demand. Price has been going upward over the last month. This is a very good sign and might be a future successor of fiat currency. Smiley

Dollar is centralized and it's supply is being made by the Central bank and it's the same with other country's money. And there's no way for a government to let their current fiat system be changed and replaced by something that they don't have power of controlling the supply. There will be a day that everything will be digital and money will be included too but I doubt it will be bitcoin replacing the current money system.

I think. There's no possibility that bitcoin can replace dollor, we know bitcoin is a valuable coin, but i cant see any reason to remove dollor, becuase dollor is the national currency in the world.

While we are all positive that bitcoin can be the new era of currency but I'm still not convince that it can replace dollars because bitcoin needs a lots of improvements, dollars are already the basis of all the currency all over the globe and if ever bitcoin wants to get to that far system needs to adopt the system from there it can replace but it will take time and appreciations coming from most big countries in the world.

I would have to agree with you, in fact there are no countries that are not accepting dollars as it has been the central currency for about some time now. And indeed there are many countries that have banked the currency - Dollar so we have to expect that it will stay longer than we are expecting it would be.

But we are talking about the future here mate, not the present. So I would say, eventually, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency up to date, are going to replace dollar.

I can not confirm this, because I have realized all this will be and keep going smoothly.
Why should there be changes and developments that will beat the dollar price.
Looks like I think this will be fine as it stays in its position, bitcoin is in the eyes of digital money and dollars are in the eyes of paper money so this will not change something that already exists.

For the sake of economic progress together let it all run smoothly without having to change and the difference between currencies that exist all over the world as well as digital currency.

Now it's a lot of changes that exist throughout the world for the progress of Nusa and the nation so every country there should be a change of economy and a good online business world.

In my opinion, never. Why ? because USD is americans money, yeah you know AMERCIAN. Just let bitcoin just be the same as this days.
Why know what? Man you’re right! Bitcoin is never going to replace the American dollar, and reason is the same as you said lol– it’s just the American Dollar, and can’t be replaced. Well, even if it’s not the American dollar, I don’t think any government is stupid enough to let BTC replace their country’s currency.

People like decentralized currencies which cannot get controlled by any of the institution and bitcoin has gained a lot of popularity because of its decentralization and people are now bored of the paper money and the conventional currencies and I think bitcoin has already take the place of dollar now people are investing their whole money into bitcoin to enjoy the longer term benefits which are not in provided dollar.

I'm not sure of that. Bitcoin is very popular right now but it will not replace the dollar. Dollar will never be replaced by bitcoin. I do not agree if bitcoin will replace the dollar.

I really agree with you ,, if bitcoin will replace dollar how the fate of the bank? every country will not let that happen .. because each country has a legitimate currency for a means of exchange in their country

At this stage, bitcoin can not become an international currency, because it has high volatility, insufficient level of capitalization, and it is not a good medium for exchange. In the foreseeable future, the situation will not change, although in the case of crypto-currencies it is difficult to think of anything.
