the US dollar currency is like interest so it seems difficult to be replaced by bitcoin because the economy of the United States is very strong
I dont think that bitcoin will replace dollar soon, why? Because bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and for me it will never replace dollar because a lot of people is needed dollar over bitcoin and dollar is exisiting in this world for many years so it can not replace. People who are believing that bitcoin will replace dollar are too unrealistic, this is not possible since everything is under by the government and if they cannot control bitcoin or bitcoin replace their own currency, they will simply ban bitcoin. Bitcoin will never replace any currency, if a country uses bitcoin as a single currency then it is the same as setting up the chaos because the government can not control and certainly there will be many speculators who will play around the price so the price becomes chaotic.

I dont think so.. With 1,398 different cryptocurrencies listed on CoinMarketCap and new ones cropping up each day its so hard to imagine someday Bitcoin will replace dollar, currencies such as Bitcoin are not incompatible with lending/crediting. An analyst once said that "Cryptocurrencies will never be credible competitors because the barrier to entry is so low". He also explained that cryptocurrencies are not immune to inflation, despite the claims by many early adopters that they are immune. Many people would stick with the dollar. The supply of bitcoin is finite. For that reason, bitcoin evangelists have said the cryptocurrency isn't subject to inflation like the US$ .

The answer is no. Its only a virtual currency. It cant become universally accepted currency. There are certain limitations of cyrpto currencies. So bitcoin and other crypto currencies won’t neuter central banks, and they won’t make fiat currency go away. But they are already changing the financial world in other important ways. Initial coin offerings are allowing companies to raise money with less of a regulatory burden.

I'm not sure about that Bitcoin will not replace the dollar in any way and for any reason.dollar is the currency of Fiat is currently a benchmark for currencies around the world, while Bitcoin is a type of digital currency that its legality has not been accepted completely by the state of the world Therefore are you still convinced that Bitcoin will replace the dollar while its permit or legality is not comprehensive yet?

USD won't be replaced by BTC, I think. And this is not needed as well. Bitcoin's solely objective is not replacing USD. Its objective is disrupting the conservative economic system.

I don't think "soon" but I do think after 15 years or so it is a definite possibility. "soon" i guess is a relative term.
In the next few years, I do not think Bitcoin will replace the dollar because of various reasons; we can see that Bitcoin is very volatile in the market and many countries in the world have not accepted. For Bitcoin to work on the market, it's hard to change a dollar, but it will still be worth it now.

Short answer no, because Bitcoin has a couple of serious technical limitations.
Bitcoin can be a great store of value, because it exists a finite amount of Bitcoin, and the underlying technology is very secure. But in its current state Bitcoin is very expensive to transfer from one wallet to another if we are talking about small transactions.

Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years. Read the following news: http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-yearsIn the future we dont need a paper money because of the technolgy the people will become technology literate and they will use btc as a main currency because when you convert btc in different currency the price are not affect its stable. Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?

To replace the dollar which is the world's strongest currency would require extraordinary things, maybe if bitcoin marketcap reaches $100,000,000,000 trillion will be able to replace the dollar, but unfortunately marketcap is still $ 220 billion.

It'll take a long way, and the probabilty that it can happen is very low. Since dollars have been circulating for quite some time, plus the value of dollar has also become the basis of other currencies in order to see whether the economy of a certain country is becoming better or the other way around.

I don't think so. Bitcoin will never beat any fiat money system a mode of payment. Yes, bitcoin have some potential being a good payment system but it is not possible to replace fiat money. The flexibility of fiat money and its characteristic of being stable which is a better choice of money. It is not good to have a payment of its being unstable.

maybe if the world become a computer society. like what we have seen in movies. if all the things we have chosen in future is technology. there is a high chance that there is no need to use a fiat money. we only need a card to use bitcoin for paying things.

it is very difficult to say something about the timing. certainly the future in which bitcoin (or altcoin) replaces paper money seems tempting. However, most governments are cautious about the crypto market.

I am not sure that it will replace Dollar or any other currency in the world. It just doesn`t make sense to me because if it would be than the most btc owner would have the ability to control the world which would be a disaster in my opinion.

I think in the future, the traditional currencies/fiat money and the cryptocurrencies will always be used together. I don't think that Bitcoin will replace Dollar. That it is impossible that Bitcoin will replace Dollar because as we can see both has different world. Bitcoin still exist as a digital currency without the sufficient technology we can't use it. While Dollar is the fiat money we convert our Bitcoin to be able to use it in the outside world.
