Like the way bitcoin is getting popular I think soon the world will start to accept it and we will see bitcoin will be used same as dollars. And I am hoping in other countries also bitcoin will be working as their own currency.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

We need more research if this digital coin can replace the dollar , but i think its not happen anymore . Because USD is one of the greatest curriencies in the whole world. For crypto-currencies , bitcoin is the number one . So Dollar and Bitcoin are always partner and no one can replace this two.We need more decades to know if someone can replace this two.

As long as bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency are depending on the internet and can't be transacted without the online connection it is possible to replace dollars or any fiat all over the world, though lets not close the door that cryptocurrency may replace that money in term of exchanges as we see that the world are now open with this virtual currencies! But, weakness is still a weakness and we can't rely on it unless the issue has been solved! this is just like plastic cards we cant go out without a cash and just plastic cards to pay because we dont know when will be the system down.
Yes. If Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would be transacted without an internet connection, then they would be comparable to fiat currencies. While they won't be able to replace traditional fiat as we know it, they could become even more popular if they would be transacted in an offline world. As such, only people who have access to an internet connection would be aware of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, while the rest would be left behind. In contrast, fiat currencies like the Dollar could be used physically without the need for an internet connection, increasing accessibility to the same. And, since the Dollar is a currency which is backed by the government, it will continue to be trusted among everyday people for years to come. What Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would do, would be to live alongside traditional fiat currencies to let the people choose which one to use. Both cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies have their benefits and their disadvantages. Since cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin have been growing at a fast pace, they will co-exist with the Dollar and other fiat currencies for quite a long time. Decentralized currencies like Bitcoin will be impossible to replace a centralized currency like the Dollar since the latter has greater support from governments, banks, and institutions all around the world. Therefore, I believe that Bitcoin will exist alongside the Dollar forever. Just my thoughts

In ten years, fiat currency will no longer be used, as the cryptocurrencies will replace them. I believe that the fiat system will eventually disappear. As soon as the world realizes the potential of Bitcoin, the value of cash will collapse and the inevitable would happen.

I think this will not happen soon but this is a possible thing. the reason for bitcoin can replace the dollar in my opinion is because: decentralized bitcoin is not controlled by anyone, already many countries in the world that legalize bitcoin as a legal means of payment, bitcoin does not cause inflation and bitcoin is now favored by many people. but bitcoin replacing dollar will take sufficient time long.

This is very difficult, bitcoin will never replace the dollar because the dollar is the world's strongest currency, it takes up to 100 years to replace the dollar, let alone the dollar is the currency of the super power state.

I do not think that bitcoin is ever able to replace the dollar at all. This is primarily hindered by the high volatility of bitcoin. What would be the economy of the country, when bitcoin from ten thousand dollars first increased in price to twenty thousand, then fell to six thousand dollars? But such behavior of bitcoin, it is not excluded, will be permanent. And how will citizens treat when they visit the outlets and see the daily change in prices for goods and services? Only because of the volatility it is unlikely that any country will switch to the use of bitcoin as the main money in the country.

The answer to thus question is negative. It is impossible to obtain sovereign protection of the heterogeneous, which itself has a fatal flaw, such as payment efficiency problems and even become a Ponzi scheme, the competition between the miners and monopolies also threaten the market order of Bitcoin

We can't say that bitcoin will replace dollar or gold . But one thing i will say, Bitcoin is a type of digital currency in which encryption techniques are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.

The development of digital currencies such as bitcoin has also had a huge impact on the existing monetary system. Through bitcoin, we can realize the free flow of enterprise and personal wealth in the world, and completely break through the foreign exchange management system of various countries. If there is no national boundaries to achieve global wealth transfer free, fair and free movement of goods means unified global capital flows to the currency, the global financial unification will be just around the corner, then the global economic and financial or will be more transparent, more fair and efficient, more conducive to the free flow of factors, various countries trade barriers and capital restrictions will not attack and broken.

Actually bitcoin is very potential to replace the dollar as the world currency. But it seems there will be many obstacles to realize it. For example, currently bitcoin is not feasible if used as a currency because of its fluctuation.

It will never happen. People are too divided to be united under one central government. There are many conflicts of interests right now and that won't change. Bitcoin is a currency existing over borders or divides therefore is a threat to every national currency, for now governments are turning blind eye to it.

i think government does not turn a blind eye to it, but they do not know the best solution for bitcoin problems. and i think the government will not replace usd with btc, because usd is the state emblem
