Manchester City this year seems unstoppable and is, after the bad Manchester United defeat against Huddesfield, now the big favorite for winning the Premier League.
The Manchester.City may run away next week because there is Manchester United vs Tottenham which can end with a draw.
A possible +7 after 10 matches would already be a good advantage.

Manchester City is still firmly at the top of the Premier League standings as they only met once with other big teams that Manchester United a few weeks ago at the beginning of this season so they can easily top the standings. I hope Manchester City will slip if they meet with other big teams in the Premier League later in order to compete for the title race more exciting.

true the game still on for all of the three sides Chelsea got Hazard back which is a very helpful thing we it will definitely improve there stats and we all know these is the EPL any team can have low performance at any time so the advantage of City is still nothing because United or Chelsea can improve there results and catch up with them. I'm excluding Tottenham because they don't have a trophy winning mentality like the other two they are just a team that press hard nothing more they have been doing it For the past two seasons and they still do . They're clearly one of the best teams in England right now but they are not have enough experience to work with it.

Its still very early on in the season and anything can happen as we have seen before. As a Man City fan I'm happy to see them play much better then last season which was expected as now most of the players are used to play Pep's style. However I don't think City have had much competition just yet as they haven't played many top teams. I'm hoping they can continue to play the way they are playing but as we know things can change quickly in this League.

Maybe they have the greatest opportunity for now, but the competition is still long, even Liverpool is still likely to become champion. If you want to be a champion, Manchester City must remain grounded, do not feel the greatest. because arrogancy can be a boomerang for them. Do not let what happened to them last season happened again this season.

there was some rumors that David Moyes is coming back but in my point of view i agree with carragher this time he said that current Watford Manager Marco Silva he have done sone realy good changes last season with Watford also this season he proved that he is taking things seriusly winning over Arsenal and making the job very difficult for Chelsea last game there is other names in the table like Tuchel and Ancelotti but those names are difficult to land on we also have Ryan giggs and Sean Dyche current burnley manager . Everton may have rushed for Koeman sack this time i think if they didn't spent that much they wouldn't fired him that early maybe if they found the prper replacement for Lukaku they would have been in a different situation this time

second season for Guardiola has running smoothly because Manchester City was unstoppable and the most amazing is they are very productive in terms of scoring goals and next match against West Brom i think clearly Manchester City will win however i just realize that in the same day there is match between Manchester United against Tottenham and after defeat Liverpool last week i wondering could Tottenham able to defeat Manchester United

Just realised there wasn't a thread for the English league cup, or does someone know where to dig it up from? I know people think it's stale to watch second-string teams from EPL play, but I typically enjoy the encounters with former Premier League teams. Like tonight's Norwich, Leeds, Wolves. Fantastic Arsenal comeback just happened with super sub I never heard of getting a brace within 10 minutes of playing, whistle's about to go at 7 minutes injury time but I think Wenger and Co will see through the dying moments to progress.

Funny to see Man City manage a stumbling draw so far against Wolves! Big enough names in Aguero, Sterling, Jesus, Toure. Don't you find it always strange how English teams do well in Europe and then clutch at straws against weaker domestic opponents?

I'm backing Everton to just about pip this one. There's a strong pattern for teams who've just lost their manager to punch a little bit above their weight in the immediate few games. With Chelsea's eye on Champions League to ensure they finish their group first, should mean that they play a lot of second string players like Man Utd, City and Arsenal all did.

None of us are dismissing the value of the league cup but you can't deny it's bottom of priorities for top teams right now.

A win for Everton is my pick, a slim 1-0. Rooney has a goal in him.

The so called pattern doesn't happen all the time, look at the case of Crystal Palace,  after their manager was sacked they didn't immediately bounced back after Roy Hodgson was signed to replace the sacked Frank De Boer,  they suffered more losses until they met Chelsea and miraculously gain their first three points of the season, they even lost their next game against Newcastle after that.

Chelsea should win this match tonight even if they rest several of their stars. Everton are a real mess at the moment & I don’t think it’s as simple to solve as just sacking Koeman.
