Arsenal got very lucky today as their goals came from  spot kick it is a win for them but it didn't came from an open play which was their main way to score goals as most balls would come through Ozl or Sanchez make a his usual run to box to score a goal not sure if Wenger is trying to change the way they play it's possible good tactics from them as we seen it before in world cup forgot witch nation used this plan but they surely had some success using it now they claimed to 7th spot just one point she from Tottenham in 4rth place and 6 from the top we saw in this round all of top 7 teams winning so no points changed between them but in the next one we should have an entertaining match when last year Champions Chelsea will hosts current most lethal offense Manchester City a game will be great one to mesure both teams strength and abilities.

I saw a video on Youtube that thru the years, Wenger has been changing the way Arsenal play.  I'm gonna look for it and post it here, it's really interesting how Wenger evolved from the late 90's to now.

Basically the video was showing how Arsenal used to have a high attempted shots rate in the beginning and how that lowered as time passed by but without lowering the average no. of goals per season.  Meaning the Arsenal today has lower attempts but they make it matter at each attempt.

Arsene Wenger is without doubt a very tactical and capable manager, the only problem is that Arsenal doesn't give him enough funds to build the club into greatness,look at how they tried to sign Lemar when they didn't want to offer 50M euro for his services but later were willing to pay 90M at the transfer deadline.They need to spend or will keep missing out on trophies.

now the competition in the epl more fierce, not just the struggle for the league champion,  4th ranking medal of the top is very tight, the team who want to get champions league tickets will be more vicious in getting 3 points in every game, this is very interesting to see

its still early to talk about champions league tickets tho. but yeah duo Manchester is beast

Xabi Alonso is the type of player who plays using his brain, I mean he is a smart player, he is not kicking origin, he kicks with his intelligence. I'm sure a smart player like Alonso would be very good if being a coach. He can be a successful coach like Zidane at Real Madrid because Zidane is also a smart player, he became one of the best coaches in the world right now

Very impressive level presented by Kevin De Bruyne tonight and this season in general, he scored tonight against Shakhtar and help his team to win 2-0.
I think he is one of the best midfielders in the premier league in the current time.

He was undoubtedly one of the few Liverpool players that i really liked and i was so glad that when he left them for Real Madrid, After that i'd say Liverpool lost their edge and dominace in the midfield all because Benitez wanted to sign Gareth Barry who eventually went to Manchester City.

No, it's more like Wenger doesn't like to spend on proven and 'mature' players.  He prefers to buy them while they're cheap and young.  It's only recently (the last 3 or 4 years I think) that he's been willing to bid on the expensive transfers.  But he bids them a tad low, so he fails in getting them.

but in my opinion, the funds are not a problem for Arsenal. players who are currently included in the Arsenal squad are more than enough to build a team back into the path of competition to win the Premier League title. I think the problem Arsenal face today is the mood of the players, as I see the Arsenal players as uncomfortable being on the team and that will obviously affect the outcome of each of their games.

I think that has changed a lot these past few years, Arsene Wenger is now spending money on proven players, The likes of Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette are without doubt prove that Arsene Wenger has abandoned plans to sign unproven players but rather experienced ones who can lead him to trophies because he won the FA cup twice in the last three years.

I'm a Liverpool fan but have to admit that De Bruyne is top class, unfortunately he plays for Man City.

I for one am glad that Mourinho made the mistake of letting him go when was the manager of Chelsea because he is going to be very problematic for teams especially when there are players like Hazard, Pedro and Willian by his side. Unfortunately Manchester City have him and he is still causing problems. I am sure he will be poached by either Real Madrid or Barcelona in the near future.

3rd place 13 points: Chelsea without the 3 points lost to Burnley would be in the first place with the Manchester 2.
Surely this year will also fight for the victory of the Premier.

4th place 11 points:Tottenham and Liverpool are 2 unfinished, great talent but little continuity in the results. Watford also has 11 points and is the great surprise of this season's start

The most disappointed team is surely Everton with only 7 points.

Even though Liverpool humiliated Arsenal there is just a single point separating the two of them and with their performance against Chelsea, I'd say they did way above my expectations.  They should have even won that game and they played far better Chelsea too. Manchester United defensive strength was evident last season and now that they got their attacks working perfectly I tell you it's going to be a wonderful season for them.

Even as Manchester City destroy Liverpool 5 goals without reply, Kevin DeBruyne played superbly. In midfield, the ball is overrun by Kevin, he is king in midfield in the game. Lucky Manchester City have a midfielder like Kevin De Bruyne. He will be great with Pep. Manchester City should be able to get something this season, should be able to compete to get Premier League trophy.

Yup.  I was hoping for Everton to at least be fighting for the top 6 on the get go at the start of the season.  Another disappointing club is Liverpool.  I've always had a soft spot for Klopp and I would love to see him do better in the EPL.  Maybe even win the trophy.

But all in all, this is how I pictured it to be by the end of the season.  Two Manchester clubs at first and second then followed by Chelsea, LFC and the Spurs (in no particular order).

I am really excited about the performance of English clubs in the European competition. yesterday night Chelsea, Manchester United and city and Tottenham performed excellent football. This is high time regained the English football glory in the European stage. Hopefully, this season UCL trophy will come to England, not Spain.

Big match this week between the 2 teams will not be too influential for the position of the standings in the EPL, because although Chelsea managed to win this match they will not be able to replace the position of Manchester City at the top of the standings because the goal difference between the two teams is very different and Manchester City still superior. However, the top position of the standings will change if Manchester United can win the next game because if United win then they will be at the top of the EPL standings if Manchester City suffers a defeat or a draw in the big match later.
