shift web hosting  Grin it it working yet?

Yes, we have a functional alpha for public testing available. You can create a template site, register a domain and publish (or alternatively publish as a hash address).

Currently the best example for a high end website hosted on Phantom is ShiftHub, the central dashboard for Phantom containing the wallet and the site publishing features.

Hi Mariuszeq,

that's great, thanks a lot!

The description says "0.25 KR Minimum payout", how much is that for SHIFT?

Edit: Added to OP.

Reminder:

Soon -probably before the end of this week-, we'll be starting a viral game on Twitter with a lot of SHIFT to win, so if you intend to play, make sure you have an account. The more followers you have, the better...

IMO the only negative is the missing explanation for the end users: it should be less technical and more simple.

Hey miners,

please divide your mining power between more mining pools or if you have bigger mining rigs try solo mining. Latest added pool control over 60% network.

Here are working pool list:
http://shift-pool.com
http://shf.miners-zone.net
http://shift.mskpool.ru
http://shift.4miners.net
http://shift.bitcause.org

Thanks

This is exactly what we want Smiley please join our slack and tell us more about your ideas, we need you. Basically we want to make ethereum/shift usable by everyone, not just a few tech nerds. This is the goal with the UI.

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE AUG 25 | SECURITY UPDATE

We are currently working on an update to GShift that will mitigate potential attack vectors exposed in
the recent incident and have come to an agreement with Bittrex to suspend any transactions for a very
short time.

We are working closely with them to patch any possible vulnerabilities for SHIFT, while simultaneously
assisting in sharing as much insight as possible so others can benefit from this as well.

Please note that there has been no new attack or any cause for concern, this is just a routine measure
to stay on the proactive, instead of reactive side of things.

The release should be available after testing over the next 24 hours.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask here or join us on Slack.

this coin team is really impressive. You are doing great job! How it is possible that SHF marketcap is only $ 188,614, while Expanse coin (including 10 mil hidden coins) has $ 6,300,000 marketcap (33x times more) Huh?

personally, I like shift, but I find it very strange that both (ethereum forked coins) Krypton and Shift are both having 'wallet issues' on Bittrex at exactly the same time. One notice says: 'Wallet disabled for maintenance'--Shift Bittrex wallet, the other says: 'wallet is under maintenance'--Krypton...now...these messages appear similar, but clearly are not. One is 'disabled for maintenance, the other is just 'under maintenance'...but the effect is exactly the same to us mining or sending coins to Bittrex to these two coins: they aren't being sent. Simple. Where are they going?? I don't know...and the 'short' period of time has long since passed as I have seen that time period come and go. Also, my pools say the coins have been 'sent', but they aren't even 'pending deposit' on bittrex in either coin (I mine both). So, I see two things happening: 1) people are selling now at the last highest price and getting out before any further excuses arise..like 'oh, we're sorry, but your coins are 'lost'...and 2) nobody is (or can send) mined coins to these wallets on Bittrex. With the Orwellian doublespeak of 'under maintenance' and 'disabled for maintenance'...I for one am 'shifting' to mine other coins...and also am ceasing to mine both coins as a 'proactive measure' to secure my 'interests'...I have coins lurking somewhere out there...for both currencies...supposed to be going to Bittrex, but clearly they are 'sent', but not to Bittrex...I think it's time to ask Bittrex, Krypton, and Shift for a clear explanation along the lines of 'hey guys, what's really up??' But, hey, that's just me..I was mining during the Mt Gox 'consolations that 'all was well' until it wasn't....once bitten by a snake, one is fearful of a rope...

These two coins are essentially (or were), the last two decent POW coins out there...look at all the new coins...either POS (which you need to buy into and wait around for 'interest' while others gain the real 'interest' off your invested funds in fiat), or ICO's (just an alliance term in concert with POS)...which is just a money grab by people attempting something just below a ponzi scheme in decency...POW is dying...might as well just return to our 'old' centralized banks and fiat currencies...because if POW dies, decentralization and private mining dies with it....all we are left with are just 'virtual currencies' we buy with fiat, that make somebody too lazy to work on a real crypto rich. Maybe the 'halving' of bitcoin is now having it's real effect: the coins move towards centralization as the difficulty increases (and fewer mine them)...which leads to Bitcoin just a virtual 'reserve currency' serving exactly the same function as the US$, but controlled largely by enormous mining farms here in China...while we all are sweeping the floor now for 'dust' of bitcoin. The next result has been the explosion of ICO's and POS coins that are just 'issued' and we just trade 'fiat' for their 'online fiat'...I fear the days of this crypto decentralized financial dream are nearing an end...and like any ponzi scheme, leave a few at the top with bags of wealth..and the rest of us with work and effort collecting the dust of wealth that 'trickles down'...

What is going on? The 'maintenance' of 24 hours on Bittrex is turning into 2 days now?? This is not looking good. I also had 100 Shift mined from a pool sent to Bittrex...they aren't in the pool, and they aren't in Bittrex....but it shows they were sent somewhere...wonder where?? I think if the team doesn't get this under way, selling will start...also, I'm wondering if this is not just an issue with Shift, but with Bittrex..as Krypton has been down too for the same amount of time...I have 'lost coins' in no man's land supposed to be in Bittrex from a pool there too...nothing..nowhere...not on the pool, or Bittrex...thank goodness, not many.

I stopped mining both Shift and Krypton...and am thinking the curious silence of Bittrex is not a good sign at all.
