They are lucky that Adama Soumaoro made a stupid mistake and made it even, Bologna lost one man advantage early. Everything was in favor of Bologna until that minute. Lazio legend Ciro Immobile saved his team again. Lazio started with important three points. I don't think Bologna should be underestimated, they do trouble against many teams in Serie A. Their goalkeeper (Skorupski) and striker (Arnautovic) are great, which are the most important positions. If this would be an away game for Lazio they were not so lucky like that.

the red card for maximiano in the 6th minute really surprised me. this season lazio is not one of the favorite teams to win, they started the match in this beginning season with not good result, I agree with the others, if there is no own goal then lazio will only get a draw or maybe they will lose.

Milan and Inter started the season by winning victories. Milan had a really satisfying performance in offense but I can't say that for their defending. Because they conceded 2 goals in this game against Udinese. However this is still a very good start for them of course. They were at least better than Inter I mean. Because Inter had a really serious difficulty in winning against Lecce. The winning goal came in the last moments. Lecce are a new team around here and they were nearly stealing a point from one of the biggest teams of the league.

There is a good chance they could be winners again. People who had an early outright bet got lucky because there were too many places that showed Milan as not that great, but I believe that they are the latest champions and they could be good. Let's be honest, Serie A never became as good as the period before the whole rigging scandal happened. During early 2000's they were on a whole another level and they played in finals of many European competitions.

A very important victory today for Lazio. Totally disappointed about the episode of the goalkeeper and the goal for a distraction as Zaccagni did not notice the opponent's arrival. I really liked Provedel and Romagnoli  and Cancellieri. They were superb. The first matches are always the most difficult because not all the teams are at their best, those who have championship or cup ambitions are already at the top and try to take advantage to gain some points that would be in the continuation of the championship.

It is a decent start for Roma to the new season. Maybe they won only 1-0 but they had a big potential to have a more comfortable score as well. Their performance in the first half was great and it went down a little in the second half. This was a risky score for them because Salernitana found more chances in the second half. Roma must be grateful for not conceding the equalizer. The expectations are bigger from them therefore they don't have much luxury to make simple point losses.

It is true that Luigi Sepe's performance was quite good, at least Sepe made 4 important saves, in the end Salernitana only lost by one goal difference.

I'm also skeptical about betting on Juventus, it's really hard to predict, but I'm leaning towards +1.5 handicap for Sassuolo @1.68, I feel even if Juve manage to win this match it won't be with a big score, maybe 1-0 or 2-1 and probably won't even win, they have a lot of injured players and that could affect them, and I remember Sassuolo playing really well against big clubs last season.
