Well, it seems that Mertens in the end will leave Napoli, he hasn't choiced to get a new contract with management. I don't know what Napoli is doin this year, but as supporter I see that it has sold their best players this year

and we're going to play a league without any trusted player (Osimhen apart). Hope that managament will sell his company share to another one  

Napoli comparing to the other clubs didn't make big signing and lost Koulibaly and Insigne which will make them quite vulnerable this season comparing to the last one which mind you they weren't stable on it at all..

Maybe another two or three years he can certainly still play in Serie A. Physically indeed he has begun to diminish but his experience will help Lazio, if this transfer is true. Lazio certainly need him to improve his strengths and certainly play in Europe. He just keeps trying to keep his physical strength so he can continue to have a regular place at Lazio. He has played alongside Madrid for almost 15 years. Of course he has had many titles with madrid.

My point was that most likely his quality of play no longer fit Real Madrid and he was transferred to Lazio. For him personally it could be seen as a relegation - leaving the best club in Europe or even the world. It happens to all star players. In Serie A, another good example of such a player is Frank Ribery. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed his status so far.

Marcelo could have been good for Real Madrid for like 10-15 games a season for at least 3 more seasons as well, the point is that he would have been a good leader for the club and that's what matters, if you send someone away just because it looks like he doesn't have anything of worth, then you are leaving the veteran leadership aside as well.

I think he was a very talented player and he could be great for a long more time, but we just stopped caring about it when players stopped playing at a high level anymore, even at that age. I admit that Napoli's performance last season was better than Roma's, so it's no wonder Napoli's position is better than Roma's. But this year Napoli
have lost Lorenzo Insigne and Kalidou Koulibaly to other clubs, even threatened to lose Dries Mertens who until now still refuses a contract
extension from Napoli. So I doubt next season in Serie A, Napoli can be in the top 4, even next season Napoli can lose to compete with Roma.
Which this year Roma managed to bring in some new players, which will definitely make Roma's appearance increase. I predict Roma can enter
the top 4, while to win the Serie A trophy, it seems that the strongest candidate is still between Inter and AC Milan.

At the age of 34, still too many clubs are interested to sign this most decorated full back from Real Madrid who spend their nearly 16 years and now already end his career with most chances he is going to Italy even Marseille from France, Juventus from Italy and Fenerbahçe from Turkey all are interested to sign him for rest of his career but where he is going to landing it's a big question right now as Lazio is most favorite in market for having him but nothing is sure.

Milan start the match with a slightly different formation in defence, Stefano Pioli used Matteo Gabbia and Toure to defend the defence, and what happened was they were attacked repeatedly at the beginning of the match. A different result might have happened when the coach choose Hernandez or Tomori early, because I saw them under pressure at the start of the match. While midfielder Sandro Tonali worked quite hard before finally being withdrawn, and Brescianini is still not showing his best form.

Yes they seem to be still looking for a formula with their new squad. Regarding the result of the match, maybe some spectators were disappointed because of the defeat even though it was only a pre-season match which was not projected to win, but rather the team's overall performance. There is still a lot of time for them to improve again, especially since all of these teams are teams that will compete at the top.

Neither Roma nor Napoli have a serious chance of winning the championship, although I would be happy to see any of these teams win instead of the other three. Well, next year competition will be between Inter Juventus and Milan. Napoli has sold his best players and he can only fight between 4th to 7th place, and it wouldn't be easy, considering that Roma has bought a player like

Andrea Belotti is still free agent now. I don't know why there is no team after him now as well. He has been offered to some Premier League teams like Everton, West Ham and Newcastle. Among these teams I feel like maybe Newcastle would make an offer for him. They are already trying to build a solid team and I think that Belotti can be a really good addition to the squad. We don't know how good he would play in the PL maybe but I hope to see him adapting in that case.

I thought before that Andrea Belotti had played in the Premier League for the WestHam team, but his record wasn't there or maybe I was wrong. Because from the existing records Belotti only played at Torino and it was as I knew before too, if it was like that then purely so far Belotti only played in Serie A. But at the age of 28 I think Belotti still deserves to get a new team with easy be it in Serie A or outside of Italy. But if a club like Torino doesn't renew his contract, then I start to doubt his quality to be able to play in the top leagues in Europe.

I'm not sure about Torino to make an offer to sign him back. If Belotti wanted to stay I assume that the team wouldn't let him go. Belotti deserves to play for a bigger team as he is a centre-forward whose level is more than average. It might seem difficult to imagine him playing for a team outside Italy maybe because of his playing in this country for so many years not having any experience in the other leagues. But if he is feeling himself like he wants a new challenge then I would love to see that.
